The Weetla Wireless car charger is overall a good product, though not without some minor flaws (though, it may just be some of my hangups). You will do best to have a phone case that is not too thick on the back side. Also, the placement and alignment of your car's vent system will be an important thing to consider.Some things you should know before buying is that the clamps for the two sides automatically go into place when the device is powered up and when it properly detects the phone resting in place. To release, just push in the two little tabs on the under side.I have been using this wireless charger in my work van with my work phone, which is a Samsung S22 Ultra. Make sure the back side of your phone cover isn't too thick. I tried to use my personal phone, LG G8 with an Otterbox case commuter series (with two metal plates on the inside, as I have a magnetic mount in my personal vehicle), and it was not getting a wireless charge. However, my LG G8 is more equipped for a magnetic car mount, so it's possible the two plates on the interior side of the case may be blocking the wireless charging. When I removed my G8 from the case, it began charging. So, case thickness and metal plates can be a factor.My USB car charger has a USB-C to USB-C port that gives out 3A@5V (DC) and that's plenty of juice for this device and charging my work phone.One interesting piece that you might not consider, is if the vent clip part of the mount doesn't work out so good, you can potentially use the main part of this wireless charger in conjunction with a suction cup mount, or any other mount: just insert the ball part into the socket and tighten. I was able to do this with a suction cup mount, and there were no issues. This demonstrates the device itself is flexible to work with other mounts beside the vent clip.I have to say, this is probably the best wireless charger I've encountered thus far. Over all, five stars. I would definitely buy another to put in my personal vehicle with my personal phone.

I only bought it for the charging head to use with a suction cup dash mount I use from another vendor as the mounting ball is the standard size used by most manufacturers. (My vehicle will not support vent clip mounts.) I wish I could have ordered just the head to reduce waste, but oh well. The moving charging cable identifies my Sony coil every time so far, which is hard for other chargers because the aspect ration of the Sony Xperia is so weird. This charging mount would work with Sony Xperia 1 iii, iv, or v for sure. Seems like a well built product, but only time will tell as to how long it will last in the Tucson hot car environment. I'm sad because the mount went on sale the day I received it - that's how it goes for me.
