Brilliant product
I bought a tan second hand leather sofa, it was a bit faded and needed a feed.. this product bought it up brilliantly.. easy to use a small bit at a time and using a circular pattern to apply.. I let mine for a hour to dry then buffed of with a clean cloth.. never had any problems with it coming off on my clothes when sitting on it as long as it’s well buffed.. I use it twice a year and it keeps the sofa looking fab and the leather soft .. test an area first out of site to make sure it matches your sofa

I wish I found it sooner
I'm really impressed, its a shame I was too eager to start and thus have no photos I had become a bit slack at taking care of my sofa and it was starting to show signs of wear, lighter lines, the colour no more, I spotted this and thought its worth a try. I added one light coat, buffed it up and it looks as good as new What I would say is it dries very quickly so make sure you even it out as you apply it or do only a bit at a time I can't remember the colour if mine, my head says it was called mocha but not 100% but the colour matched well I'd definitely use it again - it saves buying throws or a new sofa!

You need good upper body strength to use it!
Love this stuff but you need to have good upper arm strength!! And I used about 3/4 of the pot on my settee. It does work though and looked like new for a few months. It slowly wears off though.

Pleasantly Surprised!
I have two matching 15-year-old, mid-brown leather sofas that were in great need of some maintenance. One of them had become slightly 'bleached' by having the sun hit it through the window. After cleaning both the sofa and letting them dry, I applied this cream with a small foam pad. It certainly darkened the leather after one coat, and made the overall appearance more even. There were small, minor scuff marks here and there on the leather and it covered these up. The sofa out of the sun took two coats, and the sun-bleached sofa took three coats to bring it back to how it should have looked, and to get them both evenly matched. I was surprised by how far the cream spreads - a little does go a long way. After each coat, I left them for 24 hours for the leather to absorb the cream fully, and then buffed it off with a microfibre cloth which made the colour more even, and then applied more colour restore cream or a final moisturizing cream. As a final coat, I used Leather Honey to add some moisture and suppleness to the leather which worked fabulously well. Would I buy it again??? Yes, I would. It did darken the leather more than I originally anticipated, but "she who must be obeyed" was very happy with the resulting colour, so that is a huge win in my book.

Colour comes off and stains cloths
I found the product nice and easy to use and sofa looked much better but the problem is that the colour comes off on cloths. All my daughter leggings have been ruined as they are stained with this product. And I left it to dry off for a long time and even after weeks the colour still comes off on cloths and stains them. Very disappointed because of that.

Would give more stars if I could.
This recolouring balm is the dogs wotsits! I wish I had taken photos of my couch before and after. My couch was scratched by the dog, stained by the kids and faded by the sun and it's now looking fantastic! The really faded areas will need going over again but only because they were so pale. I have done a single seater and a four seater couch (not the back against the wall) and have only used 2 thirds of the tub and I went over areas several times. It's really easy to apply and there was no dye transfer after buffing. No scent when applying either. I'm going to keep using this to condition my couch and hopefully build up colour on the really faded areas. I'm really impressed with the results and will be a repeat purchaser. Would highly recommend.

Wasted £20
Have used similar items before from a different manufacturer with really good effect, however, this made no discernible difference whatsoever. The small print states that must be used on a lighter colour to be effective. Now if you have a beige/cream leather and the leather has scuffed over years and the scuff is darker than the product, then this has no effect whatsoever, so don't bother. on light greys, beiges etc the scuffs are usually darker than the leather. waster £20!.

Really Does Work, INCREDIBLE!
Where do I start? Well my furniture is 17 years old, High end leather, but to be honest, like so many of us, I wasn't one to do reg cleaning and maintenance on it after it got older. The arm rests especially, and the seat cushions had really taken a beating. The leather was rough and starting to show signs of cracking and the leather itself had faded. It looked hideous to me and always covered the cushions with a blanket. My plan was to just buy new furniture as I thought there was no hope in refurbishing the leather or color. Well let me tell you, I came across this product on Amazon, and I thought, what the heck, the reviews looked great, so I thought I would try it. I wish I would have taken photos of before and after, because it HONESTLY looks like the before and after on the label!.. Following the instructions, I cleaned the leather with the Furniture Clinic cleaner, then followed with the Furniture Clinic Conditioner. I used the cleaner on the soiled areas, the arm rests and the cushions, but condtioned the entire seating area. ( the rest of the loveseat leather was still like new as far as suppleness). I then applied the Re-Coloring Balm and OMG, what a transformation. I started on the arm rests, cushions and attached back pillows. I HONESTLY couldn't believe how it worked!.. The areas that had the worst wear and damage, sucked up the product, This didn't scare me as I really didn't have anything to lose if it ended up looking like crap lol. Directions say to let dry for 5 mins and buff... I kept reapplying to the arm rests and seat cushions and each time I reapplied, I could feel the difference in the leather..The rough texture started to disappear and the dark wear look in those areas disappeared!. I left it sit overnite. I woke up this morning and could not believe the difference in the way the loveseat looks and feels!.. The leather is about 90% MORE supple and visibly, it looks incredible!..My husband got up this morning and could not believe the transformation. He said it looked almost new!. I plan on applying the conditioner to the arms and cushions one more time before lightly buffing, and will continue to conditon every other day to really soften up those areas. I can't stress enough how bad of shape this loveseat was in before and what a transformation this product has made so far!.. The leather is no longer "scratchy and dry looking".. I will see how this holds up and update this post. JUST a couple of things to note:, The Directions on the coloring do not really say how to apply, so at first I started applying with a cloth, but the cloth absorbs too much of the product, so I used my fingertips and it slid on effortlessly and didn't need much product at all. You can use rubber gloves but I didn't, and the color washed right off with soap and water. Yes, rub it in a circular motion and in the areas that are bad, use the wax on wax off motion lol. I used about a half of a jar on the loveseat, so if applied with fingers, it will go a long way! I believe what this product is, is a Tinted conditioner, which makes sense, and a good one. The molecules are obviously small enough to penetrate the leather, so that the tint and the condtioner is absorbed completely. ( that is the MOST important part). I just wish I would have taken before and after photos! I AM ordering more to have on hand for future use! UPDATE: It's been 2 weeks now and my one and only application. Color still looks great, no scratches thru the color even with the dogs jumping up on the loveseat. Color has NOT rubbed off onto anything.!! After reading alot of negative reviews, I have come to the conclusion that those people have applied the product to something OTHER than REAL leather!. DO THE ABSORBTION TEST BEFORE PURCHASING!. REAL LEATHER WILL absorb the water drop instantly!. anything other than leather will NOT. Those people who have used it on something other than REAL leather, may have a bit of color stain ONTOP of their fabric, but it will NOT absorb. THIS IS WHY it WILL rub off or fade early on.!

Disappointing
They say that one 250ml tub is enough to cover a three-piece suite. It barely covered two couches, left a streaky finish and is now not colourfast.
