I ordered the Tierra for Amazonia (intensity 8/13, medium roast) and it is delicious. It is smooth and creamy. I used it with my Nespresso Original Line machine and it worked great. I ordered the pack of 6, which has a total of 60 capsules. The box arrived in great condition, luckily there were no dents or damages. I ordered this about 2 hours ago and it arrived at my doorstep two hours later - WOW. We really are in the age of instant gratification! Although I already had my cup of coffee in the morning I couldn't wait to try this so I brewed it right away. Great coffee, very happy with this product, will be ordering more from the Lavazza brand.

Capsule coffee, especially the nespresso original capsules, have gone such a far way since its introduction to the market. However, most companies were busy focusing on "intensity levels" that meant next to nothing in terms of describing the detailed nuances of coffee's complex flavors. In this arms race of intensity levels, focus became "who can produce the darkest roast." Market became saturated with similar tasting coffee with no real difference in taste. There are some other coffee brands out there who have tried to pull off the lighter, more acidic coffee blends in capsules before, but almost all of them tasted very muted, with no barely any notes of fruitiness that makes these types of coffee great. In the midst of capsule coffee market predominated by dark roasts, the ¡Tierra! For Planet captures good balance of delicious fruity notes and acidity while not leaning too much towards the sourness. Compared to home ground beans, the fruitiness is definitely not as strong, but I think it's as best as it will get. I definitely would recommend this to anyone wanting to go beyond their typical capsules.

Caution!!! probably the worst coffee pods on the market, one pellet opened up after i brewed it and there was rancid mold in it…. threw out the rest.

When we first got our Nespresso Essenza Mini, I used Nespresso brand pods. Good quality, great selection, and not too-too expensive (average$0.80 per pod). But after a few months I started searching for other brands to see what was out there. Discovered Lavazza & never looked back! Out of all the Nespresso compatible Lavazza Italian brand pods, this one is our favorite (Tierra organic medium roast, 8/13). The flavor is rich and strong, it's consistently good. Makes a terrific homemade latte that's robust & holds up to any flavor additions. The price has gone up (as of 2024 it's $0.65 per pod) and at this point I don't think it's as good of a deal as when we first started buying it ($0.45 per pod). I'm not sure what caused such a jump in price (greed lol?). But we still order it when they run a special!

Very good tasting espresso pods - organic is a big plus

The flavor is smooth and pleasant, but a bit milder than I expected for a premium coffee. It smells amazing when brewing, but the taste doesn’t have as much depth or richness as I’d hoped. Still, it’s a decent everyday coffee, just not quite as bold as I like.
