Great floor box, read the instructions before installing!
I really like these floor boxes, I bought 2 of them to install in our new home since the open layout we needed some outlets in the middle of the room under the couch to plugin lamps. They look great, are really sturdy and once you read the instructions fit really snug to the floor. If you want these to be flush against the floor you really need to read the instructions and you need to recess the box ~3/8" into the floor. You can't just cut the hole and then set the back box flush against the floor, in that case the plate will stick up 3/8". I ended up taking off the tabs and cutting the hole for just the box and then mounting them recessed slight over 3/8", probably closer to 7/16" and then used longer plate screws to attach the plate, so it was nice and snug against the floor. With the tabs off you didn't have to cut as much at each end of the box and you were able to secure it to the floor by screwing through the holes at each end fastening it to the floor/subfloor. Also pay close attention to the way you are putting the gasket back in that goes under between the cover and the floor, it has a tab to make it "keyed", I didn't notice this at first and the plate was sticking up and then realized what I had done. Overall these are really nice looking floor boxes, they are sturdy and seem like they'll last a long time. Just read the instructions before you start and you should be good.

The only brand of floor mount covers I trust
At work I've installed many different floor mount receptacles over the years and I've always trusted Enerlites. When my older cover broke in my living room that was made by another brand many years ago, I figured I'd go with what I trusted. First and foremost, these plates, boxes, and outlets are high quality. Though I used another weather resistant (because it's on the floor) 15 amp outlet, the cover plate is very robust on these. There is also a re-enforcing plate that goes on the outlet underneath the rubber gasket to add some strength and durability. On my hardwood floor installation with box ears about flush with the floor, the cover plate sits down flush with the hardwood and securely holds the outlet in place in case it's bumped or kicked. The kit also comes with two foam gaskets in case your outlet box is slightly recessed, to maintain some level of dirt resistance. This is not a flush mount that you want to put in the middle of a floor, as this sticks up about 1/4 inch off the mounting surface, but it has a nice locking mechanism that allows you to lock one or both of the covers to keep curious kids out of the outlets. (you should be using a tamper resistant outlet anyway, like this comes with, but it never hurts to have two layers of security)

Nice faceplate with additional lackluster design choices
The faceplate is nice, but the plug is too hard to plug into and securing the outlet portion and the box don’t line up on 4 important areas (see pic). I wouldn’t order again because of the design, but don’t regret getting it (d/t the faceplate quality)
