Perfect for feeding whilst on a 2 week holiday!
I recently went on holiday for a fortnight, and used this feeder to feed my two fancy goldfish whilst I was gone. I had no one to look after the fish whilst I was away and was very anxious that this would work. I tested it a few weeks before I left and it worked a treat. The battery life is excellent. I noticed that the battery bar went down one bar in around 3 weeks which impressive. You can set it to feed 1-3 times per day at whatever times you want. It is simple to operate. The food also stays dry. I used an array of pellets and nothing got wet or stuck. The feeder is clamped on to the side of the tank but be sure not to clamp too hard as it may leave a an impression as it did with mine, but other than that I would say this is money well spent and I will be able to go away worry free in future.

Reliable and so easy to use
Had to purchase this in an emergency for my tall 2.25 metre (250 litre ) column aquarium tank, as I was going away for 2 weeks and the person who looks after my home during my vacations was suddenly unavailable. I did review several You Tube videos about different auto feed devices and this product was highly rated for several independent reviews, on build quality, ease of set up, consistent portion sizing (from 1-3 times daily) long battery charge, for up to 2 months. I literally had a day to set up and test the device before I was due to go away and thankfully experienced no problems. I arrived home after a 2 week vacation with all feeds being dispensed, no clogged food, clear water and happy healthy fish! Would highly recommend.

Vacation Made Simple with the Petbank Automatic Fish Feeder.
I recently picked up the Petbank Automatic Fish Feeder when my family and I went away on holiday, and I have to say, it was a lifesaver for keeping our fish fed without needing to rope in a neighbor. Setting it up was a breeze - it took just a few minutes to figure out the timer and get it mounted on the tank. The instructions were clear, and I didn’t need to fiddle with it much to get it running. We were gone for four days, and it worked really well overall. The feeder dispensed food right on schedule (although I wasn't there to see), which gave us peace of mind while we were away. One thing, though: the manual says not to use flake food, only pellets, but we went ahead and loaded it with flakes anyway since that’s what our fish usually eat. Most of the flakes came out fine, though a few did get stuck in the mechanism. It wasn’t a big deal - just a little clogging here and there - but I can see why they recommend pellets for smoother operation. All in all, it’s a solid little gadget. It did exactly what we needed it to do, and our fish were happy and swimming when we got back. I’d definitely use it again for our next trip!

A great little feeder.
This feeder is excellent and a decent price. Keeps food moisture free and delivers in a instant delivery (unlike slow clock work model I had before). I prefer this over slow release as it means less competitive fish behaviour in the tank. It does say not to use flake food within it, as I guess this has the ability to clog the moving parts.I set the unit to deliver an entire revolution over some days and at the end, all was clean inside with no (or very little) remnant food or dust. I take that to mean well made with tightly fitting accurate moving parts.Very happy with the amount of control on this unit and the quick override x2 day is useful. It has a rechargeable battery which means you can boost it if unsure of exact amount of charge. A great little purchase and very pleased with quality.

Doesn’t work now
It was working great but moisture got in from the tank evaporating I assume and just doesn’t work now.Lasted 3 months 🤷🏼

It worked really well
I have used auto feeders before and came back to a tank where the feeder had dumped all of the food into the tank. It took several weeks to correct and I was lucky.I was worried about using an auto feeder again after this so did some research and purchased this item. The screen was clear the food compartment perfect size and the charge held. Thus was a lot easier to set up rathe than the ones with the rotating bin. It cost me more but I needed two so cost me quite a bit more but was so worth it.I would recommend this to anyone who is worried about the experience I had originallyGreat product and worth the extra spend for peace of mind and keeping my fish safe.

Fantastic product so far, bought as a replacement to my 'mechanical' Pet Mate
I've had mine for 9 months and as far as I know it's been working fine.....Until this week.I came to fill it up and it wasn't nearly empty and that's when I realised there was no battery life left. I dug out the instructions to work out how to change the battery and found it was rechargeable!!!! I'd totally forgotten. So the first charge had lasted 9 months, yep you read that right.I have a tank of assorted Tetra and Barbs and found feeding every 2 days worked best, so that probably is part the reason why it lasted 9 months. I fill up the feeder once a month and life is great.Moisture does gather around the door so keep it clean. Also had an issue finding food suitable. You can't use flakes, but the granules or micro sticks etc sink fast and they are too big/hard for the fish to eat before they end up on the bottom. It's not clear if they subsequently hoover those up, but it is not great either way. So I ended up using Tetra Pro multi-crisps which seem a suitable compromise. Its been great so far, I cannot fault it

Great product but make sure you use the correct USB C charger!
This feeder works brilliantly, it allows the exact measurement of food by individual food compartments that are released so you can control what goes into your aquarium. It's great that you can control how many compartments are released at once (up to 4) and at three different intervals throughout the day. It also saves a lot on batteries with it being charged by USB. Tip - Make sure when charging the feeder that you are using a compatible USB c charger, I tried using my USB c fast charge cable on this and it didn't work. I swapped it for a lower powered USB cable and it came on immediately.
