A definite improvement on the Clifton 8, which was also a 5 star bit of kit.
My first pair of Cliftons, my first pair of Hoka One Ones, my first pair of quality, properly fitted running shoes, was a pair of Hoka Clifton 4s, when I was a fresh faced lad of 65, with less than a year of parkrun experience behind me.Being a pensioner, and having the watch the pennies, I've stuck with Hoka because they have proved consistently exemplary. I'm especially enthusiastic when it comes to Cliftons and I love this latest iteration.For the record, I alternate them with pairs of Clifton 9, Rincon 3, Mach 5 and Carbon X3.

Like walking on air
These trainers are so comfortable. I have over pronation and plantar fasciitis, so have trouble finding comfortable footwear. Following recommendations from a PF support group I gave these a go and they did not disappoint. They even help take the pressure off my knees. Light as a feather and really supportive too.

I really like these hokus very easily to put on you don't have to untie them with the large heel section they'll slide on pretty comfortably and they offer great support
