Look, I admit it. These are luxurious shop towels. 70/30, they are so soft, and they are easy to love. You hold them and smile. You rub them against your cheak and you know you've made it. You feel like the guy who goes to the grocery store and pays for the watermelon that is precut...even though it costs 3 times as much as a whole watermelon that is 4x's as big. Because YOLO.But here's the deal. What if you're watermelon linted... like alot?!? (ok the metaphor breaks down here.)But their fatal flaw is they lint more than another towel I own. It's strange...and yes, I've washed them. MANY times. I wanted to love these.Because of the lint, I can't use them on windows or screens. I don't like using them on my dash because i'm leave about as much lint as I'm picking up. Similarly If you use them to buff of sealant, they leave a little standing army of lint right where you pick up the towel.On top of that, they are too expensive to use for dirty jobs (like engine bays and wheels.) There are much cheaper Microfiber towels available for that...that don't lint as much so they are more versatile too.Yeah, too lintry to use for real jobs...to nice to use as junk towels. It's a trap...but man they feel nice.
