I've been using Börner Slicer since 80's when I bought first one. After over 30 years of using I decided to buy a new one as previous one at last started to losing its sharpness. And believe me I am frequent user as my family always have fresh vegetables for diner and with this slicer its really easy to prepare everything in a minute. Cabbage, carrot, parsnip, tomato and potato are easy to dice or slice doesn't matter how tough they are. The price however could be a little bit lower but if you like to prepare own meals instead of eating ready ones it's worth it.

I use it for cutting vegetables etc. when I am cooking.

Bought this to replace the one I bought in 1995 and was still using until recently when I finally snapped part of it. Shame really because my old one was still sharp and worked fine. It was because of this I didn’t hesitate to buy a replacement. Even if this one only lasts 10 years it’ll be a bargain but I expect it will outlive me! Recommended.

Very quick and easy to use. The only issue is that the product does not come in a box for storage.

This slicer is a tool for every kitchen. Makes preparing food easy and attractive. Always remember to handle with care.

Does what I wanted Easily

I bought this to replace my old one as that had become dull after many years of service. This version has the guard and the stand which are good but so far I have been disappointed in the performance for creating carrots julienne and tomato shredding. I have also tried it for butternut squash but it doesn't seem strong enough. It may well end up in the drawer of unused items.

Mandoline simple d'emploi complète. Rangement facile grâce au boîtier de rangement. J'avais déjà utilisé des mandolines pas très chères que j'ai regretter ensuite. Ma mère avait déjà une mandoline comme celle-ci qui date d'au moins plus de 20 ans. J'en avais un peu marre d'utiliser la sienne qui fonctionne mieux que les miennes acheter pas cher. Je me suis dit bon tant pis faut mettre le prix pour avoir une mandoline fonctionnelle. Franchement je ne regrette vraiment pas, coupe vraiment bien (attention de ne pas y mettre les mains ou doigts, bien utilisé l'ustensile fourni pour éviter de se couper, bon après c'est la règle de base hein). Voilà plus besoin d'aller chez ma maman pour récupérer la sienne. Voilà je recommande sans problème.

I first bought this slicer back in 1997! I used it almost every day for about 15 years, and the blades stayed sharp all that time. The plastic got a little damaged, so I bought a new version. My sister loved it so much that she took it from me, so I purchased another one for myself, and I’m very happy with it. Over the years, the quality of this slicer hasn’t gotten worse at all, only better and more convenient with each new version. I do have electric appliances, but sometimes it’s faster and easier to use this slicer. Highly recommend! 🌟

Eccezionale

This is better than my first ever mandolin! I melted my old one on the stove. I have bought 2 others but they did not dice onions. This one does along with everything else. Exactly like my original but has a better guard and a holder! Simply the best! Worth the price but it is expensive!
