Great glasses. Very elegant and good for wine as well, not just water.

This came from abroad, but was delivered earlier than promised. The glasses are all in one piece and beautiful

The makes drinking Cognac even more enjoyable - I'd never return to the "old style" glasses again.

Absolutely beautiful. They take pride of place on my bar and I use them all the time. Just be careful as they aren't inexpensive if you break one!

You have only to ping the glass to hear the quality. I had a set as a present but broke one and so ordered another set next day to make sure that I was never without one. Excellent not just for port but for all wine if, like me, you prefer a smaller glass.

These brandy glasses are treat to use! They’re simple but very stylish and you know you’re drinking from quality glassware when you’re using them.

Given most cocktails are around 100ml, this glass being 130ml is the perfect and ideal size. If you go to a quality cocktail bar or hotel bar, they will often be using these. Nearly every other similar glass on the market is double the size.

These are ideal for whiskey. Beautiful and functional. About the same size/shape as a Glencairn glass, but better quality and I prefer the stem. (Riedel also makes an Akvavit glass, which is even closer to the Glencairn in shape, but it's hard come by). Unfortunately, they don't make anything like this glass in the hand-made Sommelier line. These are a bit heavier than the hand-built glasses, so are more durable, which might be a good thing if you're not super careful with your glasses. Also, these are LEAD FREE. I mention that because a lot of people seem to ask the question. The entire Riedel line from 2016 on is lead free, but there is still some older stock out there. The sticker on the glass says "crystal glass" which is their way of saying "no lead." Finally, these go through the dishwasher just fine, though you want to be careful that they don't bang up against anything, and you don't want to use too much soap. The dishwasher soap will probably etch the glass eventually if you wash them a lot. Riedel actually recommends a dishwasher over hand washing because it's actually much easier to break the glass when hand washing than in a dishwasher. I can attest to that from experience. I've never had one break in the dishwasher, but I've broken a couple of them when hand washing.

Purchased these as a gift for my husband who drinks single malt whiskey. They are perfect! Like all Riedel glasses, they are beautifully designed and made with attention to detail. Are they durable? Well, probably not as much as the thick glass he was given from a local distillery with their name etched into it - but who wants to drink $100 a bottle scotch from that? These are packaged with care and arrived in almost no time at all. I am ordering more for when we have guests.

Purchased this pair of Riedel port glasses to increase our count from 2 to 4. They are a great size … smaller than the Riedel white wine glasses but larger than a liqueur variety glass.
