Great shave with this oil…..

I used this many years ago it saves on shaving gel and all the message and getting foam inside your ears how does it get there?? This is an oil based product works best on a washed face and using hot water to soften the beard hair using a hot wet flannel first then apply this oil for the best shave I use it with an electric shaver it helps avoiding dry skin as it moisturises the skin always wash after using this and apply an after shave balms I find is best as shaving removes natural oils and causes dry skin would i recommend this sure because its less cleanup after shaving

Once you have used this shave oil, you are more or less stuck with it, in a good way of course! I have occasionally tried other brands and types of oil, gels, foam and soaps but always come back to this one. I have now learned my lesson and will now stick with this oil. Every ones skin is different however and some, with very sensitive skin may not suit it but, for me it's the best. Great to take on holiday as well, which is how I came to favour this one. It was better than the one I had at home. One little bottle weighs next to nothing and is all you need. It says on the packaging that it is to replace other shaving gels and foams, not to be used with them and they are spot on. However, every silver lining has a cloud and I have removed a star because, like most oils, it tends to clog the razor a bit. If you use a multi blade razor like me, you need a jet-wash to get the muck out from between the blades but to get a quality shave, I am prepared to forgive this. Still better than all the rest!

Well, at the age of 62 I recently decided to try electric shaving after almost 50 years of using a wet razor. Can’t say everything went well as I couldn’t seem to match the wet shave with a Braun razor. Thought maybe it was due to preparation having always using shaving soap applied by brush. Purchased King of Shaves Sensitive Advanced Shaving Oil and things immediately started to look up. Shaving is closer and getting better, shave by shave. I’m expecting (hoping) things to get better and better as Braun shaving guide says it can take a month for the shaves and skin to become used to the new style. Think I’ve made a wise purchase and on my limited experience using this oil I can recommend it to anyone else having similar problems to me. Smells delicious and comes in a petite spray bottle which dispenses two or three drops of oil into the palm of your hand with a light press.

A lovely well priced product for shaving and overall skin health. Clear so makes fine shaving easier, lasts longer than you expect from a small bottle, good for travel and makes skin nice and soft.

I have used this product for years. I am primarily a wet electric shaver, but will let my stubble grow on weekends/holidays and use a blade for a nice "deep clean." Previously I had only used this as the base for my blade shaving- a few pumps applied to my face and then a high-quality shave cream or soap over it. It works great for this purpose, both with cartridge razors and DE safety razors. I have sensitive skin and really have trouble using a DE blade against-the-grain on my neck unless Kinexium is in place. With this oil I can do multi-pass shaves with far reduced friction (and can shave a bit faster since I am less worried about damage). Since the bottle is small, there really are not instructions on it; I recently went to the KoS website and realized that they recommend and offer instructions for both wet electric and dry electric shaving. As wet electric is my main method, I decided to give it a shot. Leaving my face wet and using 2 pumps, I can get a great shave and never get any friction. Even with high-end shave soap (self-lathered in a bowl), I always felt the skin getting a little dry and the shaver head would not pass as easily. With Kinexium that is not a problem and the shaver works great. I experimented and added KoS Alpha Gel on top of the oil and get an even smoother shave. While I have not tried this as a dry electric shave base, I imagine it works just as well. Essentially you just dry your face first (vice leaving damp) and rub it a little longer. The face would then be dry but still have a nice glide to it. Despite being an oil, this rinses easily from my safety razor, cartridge razors, and the electric foils/cutters. It is a thicker oil, so not a baby oil feel- more like a silicone (and the older bottles even used to say "with silicone technology" or something like that). I would recommend this to any shaver!

I've been using this shaving oil for many years now. I don't want anything else and I use it every day. One bottle lasts for long as I pump only twice in my wet palm for every shave (and wet you face too before applying!) . Very smooth shaving, no cuts whatsoever and my skin is soft after shaving, it doesn't dry out my face.

J'ai débuté le rasage DE en début 2025 j'essaie plusieurs marques de lame et je suis jamais satisfait, oui il y a de bonnes et moins bonne lame mais a chaque rasage j'avais toujours des brûlures ou saignements Léger. Je me demandais si c'était ma technique ou les lames ou ma crème a raser, bref j'ai essayé cette huile de rasage comme pré rasage, et là ma vie a changé pour vrai. Maintenant aucune brûlures ni saignements, même avec un rasage rapide et quotidien j'ai un excellent résultat en 1 passage. Une vraie merveille comme pré rasage! Je recommande vivement se produit si vous avez la peau sensible comme moi avec une barbe forte et abondante.
