Once my niece worked out how to use it, it's great (took a little time at first, but she soon got the hang of it). It’s gone down really well and she made some great nail designs.

I asked for this for christmas and I was so happy when I saw the box I was trying it out this afternoon and it just did not work. I am really disappointed as the fake nails had no Glue to stick them on and the printer just gave me smudged nails and did not work at all -Please can you help .

My Gt granddaughter loves doing her nails so I have bought this set and it looks really nice. I am very pleased and sure she will love it.

This is a nice little set for any young person getting into fashion and accessories. They can feel ‘grown up’ by getting their nails done without any of the harsh chemicals used in false nails.Set includes everything you need to get set up. I do think a 9 year old might require some help where a mid-teen may find this childish- so it’s a small age range suitability in my opinion.The variety of accessories are quite good- although you get just one set of the 10 nails which I found a bit confusing. I genuinely though you might get more. However, you can make a complete set with everything included.I do feel £30 is very much on the pricey side for this type of item that you see quite a bit on the market, therefore has quite a bit on competition.If this was on a little offer, then I’d be happy to recommend as a lovely birthday or Christmas gift for any young person.

Tried this nail kit and the designs didn’t work just kept leaving a smudge of nail varnish

Like Miss Haversham before me, I find myself with the status Great Aunt - and am determined to remain the fun funky one, unlike my literary counterpart! I ordered this nail design kit for my Great Niece, who is coming to spend some of the summer with us in our Edinburgh home. The weather can be unpredictable up here and although we always try to enjoy whatever the day brings, there are bound to be some dreik and drukit days where we have to find entertainment at home. The wee one is 7 now so just beginning to become interested in make up and varnish, so a few home manicures may be just the thing! The kit includes 6 varnish pots in colourful shades, some nail glitter, a set of false nails and a device for printing designs on the nails. Although the age guidance is for 9+, I will be fully supervising this experience and acting as nail technician for my Great Niece, so I am happy that this will be okay. I have checked with her Mum and Dad and they are happy for us to enjoy a little girly time - I promise to be cheaper than salon prices! This is a great wee kit which I look forward to sharing!

We had a play date for my 8 year old daughter and her friend. We worked it out together how to set it up. It does say for 9+ but I was helping so was confident would be ok.Easy to follow instructions but we couldn’t get the designs on our nails. Kept ending up on our skin??So we used the varnishes on our nails and they lasted well.2 disappointed little girls and mum as I had to find another activity to do Quick!!
