JVL Rug safe carpet gripper for carpet floors 120 x 180cm

So I bought 2 of these after reading the comments. Some guy suggested buying 2 and reversing the contacts of the sticky sides against each other. Did that. Rug doesn’t move at all. Sticky side to carpet and sticky side to rug on top of each other. It’s genius.

They definitely seen me coming with this one. £15 gone, completely down the drain on this rubbish. I done exactly as instructed, cut it to size (5cm smaller than my rug) peeled off the plastic film and put it sticky side down, with my carpet underneath and my mat on top and it's not stopped it from sliding in any way shape or form. I honestly can't see how it could work. The material offers no resistance whatsoever. It's like gluing a thin cotton bed sheet to your carpet and expecting that to work. WHAT AN UTTER RIP OFF. Amazon shouldn't allow rubbish like this to be sold on here.

Lets be honest here, this doesn't really help you to fix your rug to a carpet. The best it did is reduced the movment considerably. But still my rug moves about and folds sometime. Its not a bad product, but its not great as it says in description either. Don't have high hopes :)

I ordered two of these, which is just as well. The single one didn't work at all, because, when I followed the instructions to put the sticky side down, the non-sticky side slid around, and didn't anchor the upper rug at all. I turned it over, and it didn't work any better that way either. However, when I opened the second mat and put it on top of the other one—so both the carpet and the rug had a sticky side—they worked a treat. So I'm giving it 4 stars, but you really need two of them put together. At least I did.

For 5 years we've lived with a large mat/rug near our front door which wanders around as though it's got a life of it's own. For 5 years this has driven me mad, I must straighten it at least once a day, until I finally snapped and...bought two of these. These are super thin adhesive pads, stick one side to the carpet and then put the rug or mat on top. Our mat is quite large so I bought two, but I actually think one would suffice. since we put it down the mat hasn't moved an inch, it's amazing something so cheap and simple could work so well. It's not stuck down so well I'd be worried about it being stuck forever, although I don't want to move it. We have two pads on either half of the mat, neither of which runs to the edge so you can still lift the mat to vacuum, although we are careful not to pull it too much. As good as this is I'm sure if it was stuck and unstuck too many times it would eventually lose it's stickiness. Overall, if you have a similar problem I'd recommend it, I wish I had them years ago.

I bought this to use to stick rug - to carpet. Used as per instructions, total waste of money -doesn't do anything. Can't return since I cut to size.

The item met my expectations and was of good quality. Overall, I’m satisfied with it and would recommend it.

What a waste! I was very confused about how to attach this when I got it, since only one side appeared sticky and was already stuck fast to itself. It was a while before I figured out the other side was a peel away film, this was hard to figure out because it was so hard to get off the film cover! Neither side was sticky enough to stay attached to my carpet whilst I was trying to peel away the film, and I couldn't do it all in one go because it would get stuck to me, itself and every invisible hair in existence! I only got it halfway onto my carpet before I gave up entirely, and it left a horribly sticky mess on my carpet and fingers — even though it didn't stay stuck in place! I don't think it would have secured my carpet well even if I had managed to get this on. Definitely do not get this if you value your carpet or time.

Only lasts for about a week don't waste your money sorry I did.
