Vital Proteins Collagen Creamer Mocha Powder, 11.2oz (317g)

Regardless of my schedule or (almost) whatever diet I'm on, I must have my morning coffee. I keep this creamer near the coffee station and use it daily consistently as a result. I only use one scoop, in part because it does add a density to my coffee, maybe like hot chocolate mixes add a creaminess to milk or water. In part because it goes fast. I also add half and half just as a personal preference. You do have to stir the powder in. The flavor is subtly mocha and if you really imagine it there's a hint of coconut but t is definitely not coconut forward. Hard to say if I notice results quite honestly. At 63, I am mostly just trying to offset some of the effects of aging on my skin and soft tissues. I have been using this product for months and expect to continue to use it as long as it's available.

I have been hearing about how great collagen is for your body and wanted to try this out since its all over instagram. I researched a few different options before I got this. I waited until I used the whole thing to review to see if I could tell a difference. The tase and smell I thought was good. I ended up using just 1 scoop per cup (I make about 12 ounces every day) because of its ability to dissolve. You really have to stir more than normal to try and make your coffee smooth, even after intense stirring when my coffee is hot it still tasted a bit gritty at times, especially near the end. This part didn't bother me, using only one scoop also made me feel like I was getting more moneys worth since it lasted twice as long. I couldn't tell if the claims really affected me. I tried to really pay attention to how my hair, skin and nails looked and felt. I have knee pain when I walk/stand a lot and exercise and I felt there was no difference in how my joints felt. The ingredients are definitely healthy for you so this is a great substitute if you are trying to clean up your diet but still need creamer in coffee. With one scoop I felt I still needed a little bit of regular creamer but that is pure personal taste. This ONLY dissolves in hot liquids which may seem obviously but I tried to put it in iced coffee and it was a horrible failure! This is a good company that uses good ingredients but I felt like this wasn't worth the $$ for me since I didn't tell a difference in my health or appearance of skin etc..

This used to be my favorite thing in the whole world. I loved this coffee creamer. But they have a box on it now that says "now with improved taste!". I'm so sad! 😭 Why fix what isn't broke?? The consistency is different. It used to make my coffee creamy and frothy. Now it disolves instantly and only adds sweetness and too much coconut flavor. I dont even taste mocha. Doesn't even seem like a creamer anymore. Just like sweet coconut. Please go back to original formula.

I have trusted Vital Proteins to be my collagen of choice for several years, spending quite a bit of money on it, telling friends about it. The ingredients were pure, no artificial sweeteners, fillers etc. Over the past month or so, I started having stomach problems, bloating, gas, stomach pain,gaining weight for no reason. I looked at everything else in my diet, never suspecting my Vital Proteins would be the culprit. After ordering another four canisters I happened to look at the ingredients again, and they have changed to adding maltodextrin, a very unclean, un-keto filler which causes all of the above. I figured out in my previous multi-can order that I was sent three of the old type, and one with maltodextrin, which I just finished off. Because of Amazon's policy not allowing the return of food-type items, I am stuck with over $100 of collagen creamer which I cannot use because of the new addition of MALTODEXTRIN!! Edited to mention, added one star after reaching out to Vital Proteins who had good customer service and directed me to how to get a refund for the purchased product.

I don't know how well it works but it tastes good.
