Sturdy and holds a LOT of washing
I've owned three similar types of driers. The first I chose on price and it showed. It didn't last long - all driers are not built to the same level of quality!. The second I was a bit more careful and bought something slightly more expensive which had good reviews. That one's lasted me eight years of heavy service. It's not 'broken' but is showing signs of age, so I wanted to replace it. I'd had this model on my watch list for a while and when it came back in stock on offer it took the chance and I am glad I did. *UPDATE APRIL 2025* The drier is still going strong and still looks like new, despite heavy use since late 2023. I found some cheap attachments to enhance the performance - sets of pegs/clips attached to a pad which you can wrap over the arms, with Velcro pads to keep them fixed in place, which provide pegged hanging for smaller items like socks/underwear. This frees up the arms so you can hang more stuff. The capacity of this thing is amazing now. At time of writing it's now cheaper than when I bought it, so if you're in the market for a well-made drier, this should be a strong contender. It arrived quickly and as soon as I opened the box I could see it was going to be considerably larger and sturdier than the one it was replacing. All the poles and plastic parts felt well made and sturdy, with good finishes. The poles themselves are wider and thicker than on previous driers i have used. On those I was able to get pegs round the poles to 'hang' washing off each bar. the bars here are too thick, except on the 'extension', so it's changed the way i hang things like socks, cloths and flannels, but that no problem. I found it relatively easy to put together in around an hour. Lay all the bags out on the floor - they're labelled alphabetically so it's easy to identify each part from the plan. I have seen people say the arm poles fall out. I found that when you construct it, if you lay one of the plastic arm ends on the floor, with the arm openings facing up, then push the poles in so they are vertical, you can then fit the other arm end onto the other end of the poles. When completed the top of it will be about waist height. A gentle push down on the top part will ease the poles snuggly into place into both end pieces and they won't fall out. it is easier to do pushing down with your bodyweight, than it is if you are fitting it horizontally. The sliding extension is a real bonus on this item. On my last unit, if I was drying a sheet or blanket it would either have to be folded or positioned VERY carefully so that none of it was trailing on the floor. With the extension on this unit it is much easier to have a blanket spaced out and have other washing hanging on the arms underneath. There's also room to slip my dehumidifier beneath the lowest arm to speed up the drying process. The other two benefits I like about this drier, over my last one is that the wing arms are slotted over little nubby poles on the top. On my last unit they were clamped around the upright bars, so gravity ensured they worked their way down a little when loaded. As the drier got older they tended to slide down more. This model can't do that. The other thing is, with it being so much taller, none of my trousers/trackies ever touch the floor, whereas before they were either very close to it, or on it when the wing arm slid down. The only thing this hasn't got, and I am undecided if it is really a negative - the feet don't fold in, so, unlike my last drier this doesn't fold 'flat' and the feet will always be at 90 degrees to the folded down arms. However, the feet on my last unit had lost their sturdiness, so would fold in at the slightest touch or movement, which made it unstable. I'd found it keeled over/on the verge of falling a number of times when the robot vac had nudged it. As the feet on this unit don't fold, that won't be a problem, but it will just take up that bit more space to store. Overall I am very happy with this drier, it was a good price, is capacious and sturdy and feels like it will give many years of good service.

Brilliant!
I don't usually leave reviews but for this I am making an exception! In terms of value, it is excellent and all our other clothes airers have been retired to the garage as a result. It is big, can't deny it especially when fully extended, but when stored it is reasonably narrow in depth and it fits neatly within a reasonably small utility room (probably too big to store in the average size bathroom though), being on wheels, it is very easy to manoeuvre even with loads of washing on which it can accommodate - 3 wash loads is the most we've dried on it at once. It has multiple areas/racks for drying which can be folded up for use or down when not needed or stored. The drying rods are nicely spaced out so plenty of air can circulate; it also makes it easier to hang washing. The extension part is great for hanging sheets/towels plus the hooks on either end of the airer can be used for shirts on hangers. Occasionally a rod (same one each time) might come out of its fixing (as mentioned in other reviews) but generally when firmly pushed back in position, it's not a big issue (maybe some glue to keep it secure). When used with our dehumidifier washing is dried quickly and we rarely use the tumble dryer. If you have the space, then I would definitely recommend this product. See photos - one when in use and one when stored.

Great if you have enough space to use it
Easy to set up and enough space to put all our washing on. Some of the poles pop out when you move it but we just superglued them and it’s really sturdy now. It is really tall and big so if you don’t have a lot of room I would recommend a smaller one

Good value and quality
This is an excellent clothes airer, it holds a lot of laundry and doesn’t take up too much floor space. It arrives in lots of pieces and needs to be assembled but this is not difficult and is mostly achieved by push fitting parts together. I like the extendable section of the frame as it is handy for hanging large towels, sheets etc. The airer is sturdy, stable and can easily be folded up and moved (because of it being on casters). The only slight negative is that, unlike traditional foldup airers, it does need a relatively large storage space. I feel that overall there is much to recommend this airer and the current price is very reasonable so I am more than happy with this purchase.

Game changer
Getting clothes dry is a boring everyday job right?! Especially if it takes too long and then goes musty. Adult daughter and boyfriend moved back for a few months before they go travelling. We all go to the gym daily, wear work clothes and then casual clothes so washing mounts up quickly here! As the weather cools, clothes get thicker and heavier and the ridiculous amount of rain has prevented me from drying outside. We were struggling to get our clothes dry inside without causing extra humidity and having to put the heating on as clothes weren’t drying well and made the house feel damp. I spent ages looking for something that meets our needs, opted for this based on reviews and it’s brilliant (as much as it can be, it’s an airer ffs). It was easy to put together, did it all on my lonesome, it’s really big, loads of drying space with handy hooks at each end for drying clothes on hangers, it has decent gaps between bars for air to circulate, loads of drying space and has wheels with locks so generally just easy to move around. My house no longer resembles a Chinese laundry which is a bonus. I also put a dehumidifier underneath and even jeans are dry by the end of the day, clothes dry flatter and only need to fold…no ironing needed (high five on that)! Worth the money, sturdy and good quality, you won’t be disappointed. If I was to say one negative it would be that the feet don’t swivel in for easier storage when not in use, however, in our house it’s always in use so no drama here.

GOOD DRYER BUT COMPLICATED TO ASSEMBLE!
The instructions to put this together are very complicated and you are dealing with an awful lot of pieces. There are only diagrams there are no written instructions. It took my husband about 2 hours to figure this out and he is pretty good at assembling products. I think an awful lot of patience will be needed to assemble this. On a positive note this is a fully functional large capacity clothes dryer. I really like the size of this dryer and It has arms to put coat hangers on so you can dry shirts. Jackets etc. It is large enough to dry double sheets folded over to dry outside. It seems very strong and it is quite tall. It folds in but does not fold flat easy storage. So if you want a huge family dryer for inside and outside that can hold a huge amount of washing this is great. Please note: It says it is for inside and outside drying but I do not leave this dryer outside permanently. It is made from strong plastic and steel so in my opinion I don’t think it’s weatherproof. I hope this review helped.

When connecting the second upright, pull out the telescopic bars to connect to the third upright.
Allritt Airer Clothes Foldable Clothes Drying Rack 4 Tiers Large Laundry Rack with Wheels for Indoor Outdoor Use. Out of all the variants of clothes hangers that I have seen on the Amazon UK Site, this is a fantastic piece of kit. I would recommend this product to anybody. It is relatively easy to put together, although some of the instructions, particularly in section four of the diagram, are a bit misleading, which I personally find confusing. When connecting the second upright please note the middle upright horizontal bars have telescopic bars that you have to “pull out to connect to the third upright”. The overall construction is substantial except for the telescopic bars which are smaller in diameter, which one has to be careful what type of garments you hang onto these bars due to their diameter being smaller. Where you would hang your garments for example onto the clothes hanger extension at the very top of the close rack the plastic stub shafts are not in my opinion up to the design to accommodate very heavy loads. I would Imagine they would have a tendency to bend the plastic coat hangers if too much weight is hanging off the top extensions. The clothes rack has three sets of wheels, make sure you fix the lockable wheels to the outer frames and of the ones without the lockable wheels to the middle upright. A unique feature of this close rack is the ability to extend or compress the section with the telescopic rods which make the footprint of the Close Hanger more compact. Due to its size, you will need a large floor space if you wish to extend this rack fully. For a large family, this would be more than adequate to handle a full wash-load. Barring the points I have made certain parts could be made more substantial. This is a brilliant functional product design which is fit for its purpose and I would recommend it to anybody who has a large. family.
