Ryobi R18ALW-0 18V ONE+ Cordless Area Light (Body Only)

Bought it to enable me to take up some loft flooring and lay loft insulation, lit the area up very brightly and was enabled me to do the work I needed. Pleased with my purchase

A very impressive lamp. It's extremely bright and the options to hang it in various ways are very flexible. It is particularly good as part of a collection of One+ products, and its "hybrid" power supply adds to its flexibility. In terms of battery use, I have some old 1.3 ah Li-Ion batteries for the One+ system and on testing, I got about 55 minutes of continuous light from one of these, which I thought excellent. It should be noted that Ryobi do not supply a mains cable for this. The product is aimed at the European market and the socket on the lamp body would fit a standard extension cable in Europe, so most EU users will already have a perfectly suitable cable. It's easy enough to make one for use in the UK by buying a Rewireable Schuko socket (search at Amazon) plus some flex and a 13a plug.

My husband really liked this lamp that I gave him for his birthday. It will be very useful.

Excellent work light. If you already use the Ryobi One+ 18v tools and have the batteries and chargers then this light is an excellent addition. Very bright flood light, ideal for portable lighting. This one was bought to be used on building sites when working inside properties, it is bright enough to light an entire room with sufficient light to work in. I don't know how the rigid plastic casing will stand up to knocks, only time will tell. It is a shame that the euro 2 pin mains adapter isn't included, but no great hardship as the primary use for this light is on battery power. Lets hope the price keeps coming down.

This light is bright! Don't look directly into it or you'll be seeing stars for hours. Very happy with it and is a useful addition to my ever expanding Ryobi one+ tool collection

I bought this for my husband so that he can keep working at his allotment even after it starts getting dark, as he's finding he keeps running out of time. He hasn't used it for this yet but lights up a pitch black garden a treat so will definitely meet his needs. A really powerful light for working on projects after dark or where there is no power/light. The ONE+ system is excellent and if you need a number of power tools etc, will save you a lot of money.

Purchase this light to hang on the wall outside while I am in the garden playing ball with the dog. It is bright light weight and just what we needed. When finished I bring it in the house.

WOW. The performance of this thing is simply stunning, extremely bright, battery seems to last a very long time, have only had three weeks and used a dozen times already. No power supply like 1 star reviewers but why on earth would you buy a battery powered light for us on the mains? Only criticism is I think this is a £45 product not £80, I bought when amazon did a buy 4 for the price of 3 promo so helped with the price.

Cette lampe émet une lumière si puissante que je ne l'utilise que dirigée vers le plafond. Ainsi elle éclaire de façon suffisante une grande pièce sans épuiser trop rapidement les batteries. Lampe précieuse dans les régions de montagne où les coupures de courant ne sont pas rares.

ottimo prodotto,certo, per un faretto il prezzo potrebbe sembrare eccessivo, ma la comodità si paga.... inoltre è molti pratico : possibilità svariate per agganciarlo, supporto stabile e regolabile, led che non scalda e in estate è importante. Come luce prodotta è più che sufficiente. Pienamente soddisfatto.

Acheté pour mes travaux, j'aimais bien le principe de projecteur hybride sur batterie ou sur secteur. Possédant déjà du matériel Ryobi, j'ai utilisé les batteries de ceux ci. A réception, j'ai été bluffé par le puissance d'éclairage. Son petit point négatif est que le pied n'est pas très large donc la lampe manque un petit peu de stabilité quand le sol n'est pas très plat. Sinon rien à redire, il est au top

Ich kann mich allen positiven Vorrednern nur anschließen und bin froh, diesen Strahler als Ergänzung zu meinem Ryobi-Fuhrpark gekauft zu haben! Die letzten Tage stand die Renovierung des Wohnzimmers im EG an. Obwohl zur Südseite ausgerichtet, ist doch ein Teil des Wohnzimmers durch ein vorgebautes Terrassendach nicht taghell. Und natürlich wurde die normale Wohnzimmerdeckenlampe, welche ja wegen der Gemütlichkeit auch nicht so helles Licht macht, abgeschraubt, um die Decke zu weißeln. Hier glänzte der Strahler dann mit seinen Vorteilen: o Helles, weißes Licht, welches selbst im taghellen Wohnzimmerbereich noch aufhellte o Einfaches Umstellen der Lampe, da kein Kabel stört. o Geringes Gewicht, selbst mit 4Ah-Akku. o Sehr gute Standfestigkeit! o Robuste Bauweise und gute Einstellbarkeit der Neigung aufgrund der Feststellflügelschraube. o Im Vergleich zu einem Halogenstrahler keine störende und Energie vernichtende Wärmeentwicklung. o Suuuuuuuuperlange Laufzeit mit 4Ah-Akku. Habe zwar nach ca. 4h dann gewechselt, wenn nur noch eine Kapazitäts-LED aufleuchtete, aber da wäre dann ja immer noch was gegangen ... Mit einem geladenen Ersatzakku ist also stundenlange, ununterbrochene Arbeit kein Problem. Kann diesen Strahler allein schon zum tapezieren als MustHave bezeichnen, da es mit ihm sehr einfach möglich ist, die Tapetenstöße auf Lichtschatten zu untersuchen. Nachteil: Ich unterbrach viel zu oft (alle halbe Stunde) und unnötig die Arbeit um nachzusehen, wie denn der Akkustand ist ... ;-)

Excelente producto y excelente envío anotar que el foco viene sin batería y sin cargador lo único que ofrece es una toma para poder conectar a 220v y el hueco para conectar la batería he probado todo tipo de focos y ninguno como este con la batería de 4000amperios la duración es cercana a 6horas y con las de 2,5 suele durar un poco más de 3horas La Luz es blanca y el ángulo de luz es muy amplio Perfecto
