Vallejo Game Color Skintones Acrylic Paint Set - Assorted Colours (Pack of 8)

I was having real problems trying to mix my own colours and finally decided that I needed actual skintone paints. I really like Vallejo paints for model figure painting and airbrushing, so I chose these. Most of my paints are from Vallejo as they have a good consistency and give good coverage. This set is no different. I mainly use a wet pallet in my painting and these paints worked well with that. They didn't separate much on the pallet and were still good to go after about 20 minutes of being left untouched. I found the Game Ink Skin Wash (72.093) in the set to give a really strong reddish colour when used straight from the bottle over the lighter skintones. I eventually worked out that it needs to be really watered down before use and applied in thin glaze-like layers. The Game Color paints are nice to use but I would recommend trying them out on an old model first to see what the dried colour looks like. When used with the thinned skin wash and then some light dry-brushing, the skintones look really good. Overall, a good set of colours that I'm sure I will be using for a while to come.

This is a great spectrum of flesh tones. Vallejo are one of the best paint ranges for miniatures and this covers a broad range of paints which are easy to use and offer great coverage. I am a huge fan of this range.

Nice mix of skin tones for fantasy model's plus one skin wash, as always excellent price to size and quality ratio you expect of Vallejo.

Not bad paints, worked for me better than my Army Painter, but that set I have is more than 3 years old so that's not a fair comparison. Paints have a decent covering, nothing crazy but the selection plus wash sorts most of the shades you may ever need, plus you can obviously mix them. They were a bit separated, no agitator in the bottle so get ready for some serious shaking. Maybe find a girl that's into twerking, tape them to the service area and make her go to town. One way to do it for sure. Myself, I'm not into twerking at all so I went with the vortex mixer. No issues there, but by hand more than half of the pack required a trained adult content browsing expert skills to get going.

Vallejo is the way to go they have rhe biggest and moat most diverse selection of model paints on the market not to thick so can be used strait from bottle and the pigment does not seem to settle at the bottom as most model paints i have tried do worth the buy for any model painters

Very good. You must experiment with them though. The colour the paint is in the bottle is not the shade you end up with.

J'ai acheté la plus part des couleurs de cette Marque Vallejo et je peux dire que je n'ai jamais été déçue. Vous pouvez vous servir des peintures pour peindre vos maquettes, figurines, soldats de plomb... personnellement je m'en sert pour faire des enluminures. Cette peinture sert également à peindre avec un aérographe modélisme. La qualité des couleurs est bien respectée, la qualité elle-même de la peinture est excellente et sèche vite et ne coule pas.

Hervorragende Farbtöne für die Gestaltung von Haut. Die Schattierungen sind ausreichend, um sehr viele verschiedene Teints gut herauszuarbeiten. Ich empfehle, die Farben zu verdünnen - Vallejo liefert seine Farben recht dickflüssig aus, was gerade bei Gesichtern eine Verdünnung notwendig macht. Dadurch werden die Fläschchen noch ergiebiger, was ein zusätzliches Plus ist. Unterm Strich hervorragende Produkte, so wie man es von den Spaniern gewohnt ist. Klare Kaufempfehlung
