Love these Paw Patrol cups for my daughter. They do not spill when she throws them or tips them upside down on the furniture. We use them daily for water and on the go too. My daughter does like to bite on the top straw that is part of the lid and Contigo does not sell replacement lids so that is one downside. I always hand wash these cups so we have not had any issues with the Paw Patrol characters coming off. I like that there are no small rings that have to be removed because it has the larger clear piece that the straw fits into. I have one of the other style kids Contigo tumblers with the spaceship on it and I actually prefer this Leighton style because it is more sturdy and holds up to being tossed across the room onto the tile floor. We have rotated these cups daily since we got them on April 7, 2024. Because of the constant chewing, little scrapings of plastic have started to hang off the straw and I have to remove them each time I wash them (everyday). Our Hello Kitty Zak cups have a silicone straw and have held up better to my little chewer, but they are not as spill proof as these in my opinion and we normally use them for milk. I plan to switch the Leighton cups to mealtime milk cups only so she has less time to chew on them. Her Zak cups will now be her water cups. Problem solved!

So I use these cup for my 2/3-year-old boy and I really like them however, there are a cons make sure you purchase yourself a bottle, scrubbing, set to wash the straw, the lid and the white plastic part. I do not recommend placing these in the dishwasher even though it claims your dishwasher safe it will warp eventually. I will tell you the graphics on these cups if constantly use will eventually fade, and if you put any staining type juices in these cups, you were staining the plastic lid part on the inside, kind of like a Tupperware, but the biggest con I had was even when I made sure everything was properly put together. There would be times when my child would accidentally knock his cup over and it would fall in the straw and plastic part would disconnect from the lid and you wouldn’t be able to telland my childhood attempt to drink from the cup and we become upset now this isn’t a big deal when you’re with your child but imagine if they’re at daycare and the teacher doesn’t understand that that’s what needs to be fixed so how long is it that your kids go without water because they’re not able to verbally communicate. use caution they are not 100% spill proof.
