This is a wonderful Hori Hori knife for serious and soon-to-be serious gardeners. It is sturdy and well made. The serrated edge is sharp enough to cut through tough roots. It has multiple uses, for cutting, digging and planting bulbs to the depth marked on the blade. It arrived on time and was the quality tool as described. The sheath is strong and protective. Delivery was on time. I am very happy with it. I would choose this tool again.

I like the weight of the knife. I got the pink color to discourage my male family members from borrowing “my” tool! The serrated edge works great to help loosen soil along the edges of a pot if you are dividing plants and repotting. The handle includes a nice sturdy lip to help prevent your hand from sliding down onto the blade while you work. The blade includes measurements etched in inches and millimeters to assist you in planting bulbs or to determine hole depths. The knife comes with a holster or scabbard to hold the knife. It can be worn on your belt by the scabbard loop if desired. I divided two very large sun ferns and the knife was under significant stress but held up very well. I will be using this garden knife for years to come.

First time out and WOW! I'm impressed. The WORKPRO HORI HORI GARDEN KNIFE works better than I expected! It cuts through sod and grass roots like butter. It feels well made, very comfortable to use and it's definitely not flimsy. Great price for a well made product. The sheath is better than other makes I considered. It's like a semi rigid ballistic nylon. It has a snap instead of velcro (a plus IMO) to secure the tool in the sheath. Stitching looks good and it has 5 rivets around the perimeter, reinforcing the sewn seam.

Better price for a quality tool without the name brand. Flower beds, gardening, and yard work. This takes the place of several job specific tools and the belt pouch makes it easy to keep on hand and not lose it.

This is nice, but I tried to use it to cut around my pavers where ground cover had grown over them, and it tore and pulled out the creeping thyme. I had used a serated kitchen knife the time before, and that worked perfectly, but I didn’t want to ruin my knives. I may try a jig saw. I have tiny hands, and this knife fits well, comes in a nice snapping holder, and it does work well on weeds. I will also try it on the weeds in the cracks of my driveway and sidewalks (Yes, I do have sidewalks!)

The knife works great, is easy to hold and has a very sharp blade. Helps to make the tasks of gardening much easier. Definitely recommend.

This was a gift. My relatives on NZ North Island very much needed better tools. I carry a horihori every time I go into the garden, utterly essential.

I've been using this for a month now for metal detecting, and it is holding up fine. Nice and sharp, and strong enough not to bend. Price was right, too. I'd buy another.

Very good value. Sharp and larger than imagined. Also has a strong comfortable handle and a tough sheaf to house it.

We have really hard weeds to pull out of our gravel driveway that I can't usually get with a regular shovel and weeding tool but I can do it with this! It's been SO handy for the really tough weeds. It's been a game changer!
