Is this an actual dye? What colour is the cream?

The cream is white with a hint of black in plases. I have used it for many years as a grooming cream and it is really good. It does not dye your hair but rather slightly darkens it if used often.

What are the ingredients please ? Wondering is it safe for long term use ?
