I got the green apple flavor - it’s delicious! Soft chewy texture and really great flavor. Not too sweet or artificial and not too strong!

Great tasting green apple explosion
Just wanted to say how happy I am that I ordered the sweet roots green apple licorice. This is the best licorice I've ever had! From the flavor to the size & chew, it I'm thoroughly pleased. I'll be ordering & trying other flavors also.

Good flavor
Not going to lie these looked and smelled great, however they were pretty hard . Not stale, just hard to chew . Nothing as soft as red vines or even twizlers. Needed them for a candy bar, guests seemed to enjoy them.

It isn't flavorful enough and the packaging came opened
First of all, the packaging came opened. The plastic bag that holds the licorice is thin so I'm sure it happened accidentally, but to be safe, we rinsed off the pieces we ate. The bigger issue is the licorice is lacking in flavor. It's like it's not saturated enough with flavor. It definitely smells like green apple, and the first bite, you taste a bit of green apple, but once you start chewing, you get little to no green apple flavor at all, and it's like you're chewing a flavorless candle. It's terrible. I'm a huge green apple fan and I had to spit it out because I don't want to chew on flavorless licorice. I'm really disappointed in this product. My dad said it's like eating a knock-off, Great Value tier brand licorice candy. Super disappointed.
