Clearview 7.5" LED Tabletop Illuminated Magnifying Mirror 10x Magnified MLMIR105

This desktop mirror is approximately 40 cm tall and the overall mirror is 20 cm in diameter. The actual mirror is approx. 15 cm in diameter.Around the outside of the mirror is a clear plastic surround. The switch for the lights is on the base and is a simple on/off button. It takes 4 AA batteries (that are not included) and it also has the option for a power jack if you want to connect it to the mains.The mirror itself is concave, I expect that this is because it needs to be to get the magnification. The lights give a clear white light that really does provide good illumination.The 10 times magnification is really good and does mean that you can really see what you are doing when plucking your eyebrows for example. You do have to get within a couple of inches of the mirror to be able to see anything so it can be a bit limiting when applying make up as I find there is not really enough space between the mirror and your face for the make up brushes.However, this is really great for plucking eyebrows or other close up inspection of your face. I just have to remind myself that others don't see me in 10 times magnification and therefore cant see all the imperfections that I see in the mirror!

My Wife is very happy with this although it shows up the smallest of imperfections. The height makes it very suitable for use on a dressing table

The price was a bit too much for me but I got it anyway.3 months later - I am using it more than I thought.It's top notch quality and you have to sometimes pay that bit extra.The magnification is immense - be aware....To be honest something less strong would be better but as I get older I may need that intense magnification for putting contacts in and for doing my eyebrows.

When it arrived, I was disappointed and was going to send it back but it is so powerful that after i'd gotten over the shock of having to peer right into it, now I'm hooked!

Very strong magnification but ideal for spotting those dark hairs on face and plucking them out! What did I look like before!

It does a good job even though its a bit scary at first

I have, up to now used a similar illuminated mirror with a small tweezerman 10x magnified one which sticks on to it with suction cups. I can confirm that the new one is very bright and is indeed 10x magnification (some claim to be and are not). I am very happy with it and it will be a considerable improvement on the old set up.
