great to change geometry
I have an older K2 bike with a 31.8mm bar. It is a downhill mountain bike so a very aggressive position. I have repurposed it to more of a leisure trail bike and this stem let me bring those bars up and back towards me for a more comfortable cruising position.My only caution is to make sure you have enough cable to account for the extra length and height, but most bikes have enough slack to make a stem this small work.construction wise its a heavy duty feeling stem and so far it has been rock solid.

Just what I needed - seems like good build quality
This was perfect for my need - giving me an inch or so elevation in my Trek hybrid bike handlebars. Seems like good build quality - smooth finishes, screws move smoothly, paint is good quality. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of the ugly branding and other paint all over it. There are arrows indicating that clockwise = "close", counterclockwise = "open". I wish these aftermarket manufacturers would keep their items simpler. Other than that, no complaints. Does what it says.
