MonumentMON2645 2645T Plastic Pipe Cutter 42 mm, Black

Slightly disappointed with these cutters. Normally Monument tools are decent quality - but these don't cut 'square'. Even if you rotate the pipe around the jaws [not always possible if the pipe is in situ] - the cut is sometimes off.Would I buy again? Not sure. Might be tempted to try another design where the pipe is held more securely, perpendicular to the blade. Might also look at a design where the blade can be replaced.

Makes light work of cutting electrical conduit but there us room for improvement.I bought these originally to cut my installation times down and cut my costs but after a few cuts I noticed one problem with them, they don't cut squarely.On 22mm dia conduit they cut approximately 3mm off square which means I then have to square the ends off with a file, this means that the time saved is then wasted in correcting the error.It's ok for general electrical work as I have a bit of leeway regarding dimensions, but if you are spending this type of money on a "money saving" tool you would expect a higher standard of accuracy, especially as similar products are available for less than 50% of the price paid for this product.

Used to buy rotherberger a bit pricey monument half the price larst twice as long

Ordered this item as Monument is usually a quality make. This pipe cutter didn't actually seem to cut properly. Tried it out on overflow pipe - the pipe ended up crushed instead of cut! Returned item for a refund.

i highly recomend this producy it easily cuts through mdpe pipe, it goes through light-medium guage conduit like butter and you dont need a reamer at the end either because the cuts are smooth

These cut pipe with little effort the only problem was the rubber handles came of within a week.
