This paint is on par with Williamsburg, Old Holland, and Vasari. A boutique brand now available for sale on Amazon makes it easier to find and purchase. There are no hues or “safe” replacement pigments for cadmium’s, cobalts, or lead whites. The paint is highly pigmented and buttery out of the tube. It can be used plein air or traditionally with layers. Honesty about pigments in paint scores high with me and you’ll always know what you’re getting with this paint.

MH paintings amazing. It is top end, though it does come with a top end price. I use the cheap MH paints, suck as ultramarine or burnt umber and go to Rembrandt or windsor and newton artist quality for pricey pigments like Cerulean. If I sold painting for more- I'd get them all from MH.
