Fit my 2005 Tacoma front differential drain perfectly. Came with several types of seals to match any OEM application. The magnet is exceptionally strong, too. Great price and better fit and function than the original. The bolt head is 22mm.

This drain plug was a perfect upgrade for my Toyota Tacoma’s front differential case, even though it’s technically meant for a Lexus. The OEM 10mm hex bolt is notorious for stripping over time, and mine was already tough to remove, so I didn’t want to risk it. Swapped it out with this plug, and it fit like a glove. It even comes with a copper crush washer, which is a nice touch. The best part is that it takes a regular large automotive hex socket instead of a small Allen key, so torquing it down is way easier and way less likely to strip. There are plenty of videos and forum posts showing how the OEM bolt can be a pain, so this is a solid upgrade. Plus, it has a magnetic tip, which is perfect for catching any metal shavings in the transfer case. Great part, highly recommend it!

If you have a Toyota 4x4 with the 10mm Allen wrench drain plug, this is a perfect replacement! Comes with the appropriate gasket, and fits perfectly! The magnet is REALLY strong. It will take a little effort to get it to engage the threads because it sticks to the pan while you are trying to install it. Snugs right up and torques down much easier than the OEM 10mm plug. I put some anti-seize on this one so that the next change will go more smoothly.

Thank you 10 Times Over for this Gem! I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 V6 3.4L Ext. Cab. Tonight when I was trying to take off the Hex Head Front Diff OEM Drain Plug, it Stripped on me. The Hex Head Fill Plug released just fine. I Tried welding the Hex Head Wrench Attachment to the Drain Plug 3 times (I am not a very good Welder). After the 3rd time, I saw that there was a lot of weld on the Drain Plug (after the Wrench Attachment failed again). I decided to use a Chisel & a Hammer to try & use the Extra Weld to my advantage to get the OEM Hex-Head Drain Plug I had Stripped to loosen. I pounded & Pounded on the Weld Counter-Clockwise & all the sudden half the weld Broke & I thought oh Crap I am never going to get this Drain Plug out. I figured this Stripped Drain Plug was now going to cost me at least $300 at the local Garage to remove. To my Surprise, when have the Weld broke off with a hit of the Hammer on the Chisel, the Drain Plug broke loose. I was very happy! Then Came the will this Drain Plug Fit the Front Differential Drain plug Hole of my Truck. I was stoked when it did fit & I was able to get my Front Differential drained & filled with new fluid & plugged. The biggest thing about the Drain Plug is I no longer have to worry about stripping out the Front Differential Drain Plug again - Now When I go to change the Front Differential Fluid, It will be as Easy as it should be!
