Mushroom Coffee - 36 Servings, Instant Coffee Mix Includes 10 Mushrooms Extract Powder (Maca Coffee)

When I tried this, I was feeling tired and needed a boost. I was in luck. This gave me the energy that I needed. Better yet, it does so without making me jittery as regular caffeinated coffee always does. I'm sensitive to those coffee buzzes and really do not like that jittery feeling that I sometimes get. This just makes me feel more alert and refreshed, the way that I like to feel.Honestly don't know my mushrooms, roots and herbs well enough to know why this is designed for men. I'm a woman and it seems just fine for my needs. Doubt I'll be sprouting a beard by drinking this. If something like that happens, I'll be sure to come back and let you know. It's just a good instant mushroom type of coffee that is easy to make and tastes good. It's also helpful for the body. Tastes a little milder than most other mushroom coffees. Some will prefer this, especially if they tend to not take too well to the flavor of a mushroom coffee. It's good and easy to drink.

I enjoyed this coffee but would have liked to have it a bit more caffeinated.

I am not sure if I would consider this a coffee or it's own coffee-like drink. I am leaving more towards coffee-like. So why five stars? Because its good. I like the slight bitter flavor couple with the earthy tones of maca and resihi mushrooms. Thus, it good.There's other benefits too. It provides an energy boost, it has a lower level of caffeine, and it is a suitable alternative to an afternoon cup of coffee. Plus, it's a decent instant drink which means you can keep at places where you don't have easy access to a coffee maker (like many offices or when camping).Overall, this is good.

You may consider this to be akin to instant coffee, combined with healthful components. I found it to be somewhat weak (like instant coffee) and somewhat bitter. However, on the positive side, it does have flavor/taste notes that I associate with additives like maca and mushrooms. There is that earthiness present if the beverage. I already add maca and mushroom powders to my morning coffee, and this has some of those aspects, though much more faint.The ingredient list is quite impressive: Arabica Coffee Powder, Black Maca Extract 3:1, Longjack Extract 100:1, Organic Reishi Extract (20% beta-glucans). Notably, I usually use regular/yellow maca powder in my coffee; Black maca is more expensive, but noted to have increased, advantageous health benefits for males (and, studies have indicated red maca conveying health benefits to females). Furthermore, this powder uses black maca in a 3:1 extract form. Very nice, indeed. The organic reishi mushroom extract contains 20% beta-glucans (the compound that provides much of the health benefits associated with mushrooms). Unfortunately, the label nor the product details properly quantifies the ingredients.Like I mentioned earlier, this is akin to being an instant coffee product. The directions state to use 1 tsp of the powder with 6oz of hot water, stirring until fully dissolved. In my test, the powder dissolved well in the very hot water. I think most users would want a more robust coffee taste. One option would be to add 1tsp of this powder to a hot cup of coffee. However, be aware that one serving of this product contains 30mg of caffeine.Based on the components, this is a more healthful cup of coffee. In fact, the 1 tsp serving (3 grams) contributes 1 gram of protein to your diet. Although I stated it is a somewhat weak coffee, I find most instant coffees to be rather lackluster in the flavor department. So, this does fit right in with that opinion. It does have admirable additions, which gets a favorable nod. As such, this maca coffee powder receives a 4.25 star rating.

I enjoy starting my day with a cup of black coffee, however, I find the coffee to be too weak for my taste. It seems to lack the bold flavor that I prefer in my morning beverage. This coffee may be suitable for those who prefer a more flat flavor profile.

I have black coffee. I wasn’t expecting much from this instant coffee with mushrooms but I was surprised to find out it tasted great

I wasn’t expecting much as instant coffee has never really impressed me but eh, why not give it a shot. Wow am I glad I did! This is SO good!!! One teaspoon to 6 oz hot water. Really good coffee flavor with a slight nutty hint. So good!

O k so I did work at starbucks for about five years in the last year was in 1of their test stores. And i've tried these type of coffees with mushrooms infused. Now, what I will say in regards to comparison for what I remember is that this taste is just as good as any of the other ones. Saying it is a direct comparison to coffee. I have never been a huge fan of even with what starbucks would claim. Now it makes a great froth and i've drank over half of it. It is drinkable even if you don't normal try combo coffees but it is still tasty. It obviously is not gonna give you that same type of kick as an energy drink will but you know that going into it. If this is your "cup of tea" this will satisfy you.
