I purchased a number of these in varying sizes and shapes for my garden. I used these to plant bloomerang lilac bushes and some Russian sage together in order to give the plants a head start since our soil is actually extremely rock filled and heavy clay. I have found that using raised beds even for perennial items has made a huge difference in their establishment and survival in our yard. It gives them the chance to grow through loose and excellent soil purchased at a store and get a little bit established before the root systems begin their journey into our soil. And so far with this approach all of my perennials have come back year after year with the exceptions of those that my dog has decided to use as a fire hydrant lol. Having said that, I have purchased silicone clear desk mats and created shields around the plants he's more likely to damage in that way within these beds and it has worked perfectly. The peacock blue color is gorgeous and stands out in the yard without being garish. The build quality is excellent and very stable. It was easy to build them by myself and while sitting on our outdoor daybed in the shade. I would say the two things that I wish could be changed would be that they use regular nuts instead of wing nuts since those tend to be a little easier to catch hands on though they're not sharp. The second thing would be that the black ring around the top is just rubber tubing that you have to place along the product and that means that it comes off easily when touched or even bumped a little if adjusting soil inside. Both of these issues are not irritating enough to stop me from buying these in the future. I currently have six in my yard. The taller rectangular ones are being used for Dahlia's and vegetables ( tomatoes, squash, peas, basil, and peppers) and all our performing excellently. This is the first season I'm using them however so if there are any issues that arise I will come back and update my review.

This is actually nice and not hard to put together, necessarily, but tedious. Didn’t seem to find the support beam holes (it keeps the middle from bowing out) but I can drill them. Other people may not have that luxury. (Pro tip: Go get some twine at Hobby Lobby and loop it through to keep it stable.) I personally really like it. I think the price should be lower simply becaise of how long it takes to screw on all the wingnuts but I had the time. The tools they give you are useless lol.

This summer, we decided to embark on a rewarding project: planting a small vegetable garden. After some research, we realized that an above-ground planter would be the best choice for our needs. This led us to purchase the Best Choice Products 8x2x1ft Outdoor Metal Raised Garden Bed, which seemed ideal for our space and gardening ambitions. Assembling the garden bed was the first challenge we encountered. It requires a bit of time and patience to put together properly, so I recommend setting aside a quiet afternoon for this task. The design features aluminum pieces that tie the sides together, and while these components are functional, they do feel somewhat flimsy. However, with careful handling and some strategic tightening, everything came together nicely, and the overall structure felt solid once assembled. Once we had the planter ready, the next step was filling it with good quality garden soil. We opted for a mix specifically designed for raised beds, ensuring it had the right nutrients to support our plants. After filling the planter, we were eager to get our seeds and seedlings in the ground. We chose to plant a variety of vegetables, including tomatoes, green peppers, and hot peppers. The raised garden bed provided excellent drainage and warmth, which are crucial for growing healthy plants. To our delight, the results were impressive! The tomatoes thrived, reaching a good size and producing a bountiful harvest. The green peppers were vibrant and plentiful, while the hot peppers added a nice kick to our summer dishes. Overall

We chose this for a simple option to expand our raised garden beds. Assembly was super easy, though it took time (4 wingnut screws every foot!). It holds soil pretty well. It’s very light weight and was easy to level. The cross beams inside to not hold form very well. But again- for this cost, I am not expecting an industrial durability product. I forgot to mention in the video- they sent plant labels, a permanent marker and an explanation of how to layer a composted garden which was great. It gave me an idea of a starting point and the plant labels are cute. I included photos of these little garden gifts after the video. I consider myself a reasonably good experienced backyard gardener and would rate this product great for beginners through moderate. A more advanced gardener might be a little miffed at the lack of durability. For the cost, I think the value for money is what I would expect. There were NO holes. It assembled as described.

Pros: - Price. At full price they’re still significantly cheaper than similar products by other brands. At the sale price I was able to buy 2, so even better! - simple instructions, easy to put together. Feels secure and sturdy -lightweight, easy to carry to desired spot in yard - range of color choices Cons: - arrived with a deep scratch on one panel - rubber trim for one of the beds covered in grease, while the other wasn’t. The greasy one made it difficult to put on and stay on - the panels don’t line up evenly Overall, I am pleased with this purchase and recommend them! Time will tell how they hold up against the elements.

These are beautiful. I was worried about the metal being too flimsy, but it's not Assembly is super easy. You just need a Phillips head screwdriver...but I didn't use one because it's super easy to tighten the wing nut without tools so don't sweat it. I with that the washers were rubber/silicone, but don't let that stop you. It's just an issue for me with holes not being completely covered with washers, but what are you gonna do when the material is in a bending pattern? Just buy it...you're going to love it.

First, if you are considering purchasing this, you should know that this comes in a whole lot of small panels that need to be put together (I believe there are 18) with 74 screws, washers and wingnuts. There are three cross ties (also have to be put together- each is in two parts). There is also a rubber cap that goes around the entire top - slightly longer than you need, so you will have to cut it to fit. Also be prepared to spend time removing the thin plastic film (like you see on new appliances to prevent scratching) from both sides of each of the panels. - it actually took me as mucht time removing the film as it did to assemble the unit. The Good- its a very good size, the individual panels are lightweight and easy to work with. The depth works well for most small gardens. The panels have a good solid coating on them and will probably last for years. The bad...and it's minor. The rubber gasket that goes around the top has a tendency to come off. IF i had have to do it again i would use an adhesive and glue it down. While there are three cross braces there are no cross braces at the bottom (two on to one about half way). I find that the bottom of my bed is bowing out slightly with the weight of the soil it contains. If you are assembling, consider finding some way to put a cross brace at the bottom in the same are as on the top. of the images - first is a panel, second is to show the thin film that i removed and last, the final install
