Carbon Fiber Bottle Opener

I bought the carbon fiber bottle opener because I wanted absolutely the lightest, thinnest wallet-pack opener possible; one that I could forget I was carrying until I needed it. I expected that, at .059" (1.5 mm) thick, it would feel to thin to work. Knowing carbon fiber, I knew that it would work great anyway, to general surprise and delight. The opener I received was .073" thick; It's beefy and certainly feels like it would work, but it's hardly lighter or thinner than the usual molded plastic "credit card" opener with a metal edge. I ended up getting the wonderful Kumquat  Classic Leverage Carbon Fiber Bottle Opener .

Sort of flimsy, and feels like you might break it every time you use it. Opens bottles, though, which is what it needs to do.

I always need a bottle opener when I don't have one... since I can just put it in my wallet and forget about it this solves that problem perfectly.The only complaint I have so far is that it tends to get scratched by the bottle caps as it removes them. Doesn't seem to be weakening though.

Very good concept, but finishing on the edges is not that good.

It opens bottles, it's light weight. It is carbon fiber... That's about it. The lines where the center was cut out are not straight, and the edges all around are covered up with permanent marker, it looks bad.... For $5 shipping and handling you would think it wouldn't take so long to arrive but it did. Basically it's not worth $10 plus S/H.

Small size but strong as any opener. Can't wait to take a trip to Vegas with it in my wallet. Not going to reject at airport security.

This bottle opener looks cool, it's made of carbon fiber and fits in your wallet, however it broke the third time I opened a beer.

This little bugger does everything well. Weighs next to nothing, is thin enough to keep in my wallet and takes the top off a bottle like it should
