BOINN 42 inch Extra Large Dog Crate Furniture with Removable Trays, 3 Doors, 4 Wheels & 5 Locks - for Medium and Large Dogs

There are a lot of reviews for this product and I wanted to take the time to add my review to help anyone thinking about purchasing this item. We have 2 Portugese Podengo Pequenos (yes, it's an AKC breed) that weight between 15-20 lbs. we were looking for one nice looking unit for our home to replace two portable wire cages that were a bit of an eye sore. This unit appeared to match our needs but there were a number of reviews that expressed concerns about instructions, hardware, and assembly time. However, it had all the features that we wanted plus one we did not see on any other similar product and that is lids on top that can open. Both of of dogs are male and once in awhile we need to separate them and when we do we need to be able to put them in the cages quickly and this fit the bill perfectly. Another concern was that it wasn't Prime and had a small additional delivery charge and the delivery looked like it might take awhile to arrive. In fact the delivery arrived well ahead of the indicated date and was received in good condition without any damages. I must tell you that the Amazon delivery person must be very strong because he delivered it to our door by himself but we needed two people to move it inside (it is a heavy box). Regarding assembly: We checked the parts list and had no missing parts including hardware. All of the parts and hardware are clearly labeled. The instructions are clear but minimal and you must take your time and follow them exactly (cannot stress this enough). Make sure all of the holes and parts are lined up exactly the same as the pictures. We did this and while we did correct the positioning a couple of times prior to securing the parts, we did not have to go back and redo anything. By the way this is a two person job (my son and I worked on this together). It would be difficult for one person to assemble alone. Regarding the quality of the hardware: We found all of the hardware to be good. We stripped the first screw we tried but then adjusted the tools and torque and had no issues after that. If you have one we strongly recommend using a good quality power drill with adjustable torque as this greatly speeded up the assembly time as there are numerous screws. We did use the included Allen wrenches and small wrench for the bolts but in general it would be tedious to assemble this with only the included tools. Be prepared to spend a few hours working on this (it took us about 3 1/2 hours to complete). We are very pleased with the final product and my wasted no time adding plants and decorations to the top of the unit which now has a prominent place in our living room (happy wife, happy life). All in all, we highly recommend this dog cage! It is very sturdy and well made. Just be prepared to take your time to assemble it and have the right tools available to do the job properly.

5 stars for the product, seller communication and shipping time. It’s great quality especially considering its particle board. Boards are very dense compared to other particle board items. It’s study and nice to look at. It’s a bit small for 100lb dogs. But fits my smaller shepherd and 2 corgis fit perfectly. (I’d say 70lbs is probably the limit depending on height of your dog) The directions are confusing. Like many other reviews say. I had to take it apart and put it back together 4 times. The screws will strip out easily. Which is frustrating when you’re taking apart and putting it together multiple times. Purchasing better quality tools than what is provided is helpful. Pay attention to the boards and directions your installing them.

Not the sellers fault at all ,but Had the box not gotten damaged from I’m assuming the delivery people, and rain not gotten in it, it would have been very nice! I still used the kennel as I really needed it for my animals, but it would have been nice not to have received a damaged kennel. You will need two people to put it together, it’s is very durable and spacious,I would DEFINITELY recommend the kennel as it is built really good ,and for the cost it’s worth it! Unfortunately for me, the delivery service used didn’t care about following my directions and allowed it to get damaged! Usually if they leave the package where these were left, they get stolen if I don’t make it home in time. Unfortunately,My yard also floods…The directions I gave are to make sure they are left on the porch(in view of the camera and where it won’t get wet if it rains) the pictures I posted are of the damaged boxes and the damage caused by the rain.

This create is incredibly sturdy. It was easily assembled (I did need assistance with a second person holding the doors while I secured them - it was incredibly fast) - I encountered zero issues. It arrived early which was fantastic! My Doberman is a lucky girl! Zero regrets - Worth every penny!

Received my item today and it lived up to my expectations, love the size and the lights. My pup will definitely grow into it. I gave it three stars because even though I love it and putting it together was fairly easy one of the parts came damaged, the left side metal frame came broken on the front corner.

Had the product for just under a year. The soldering on it broke and could’ve harmed my pet seller refused to do anything about it would not send parts due to them not making this one and won’t replace it. It has a responded to me stating that this is unacceptable business it’s supposed to be a heavy duty crate and it can barely even withstand my medium sized dog here, pictures of where they spot soldered the bottom and it detached.

We recently added a new puppy to the family, and now that she’s approaching 6 months old, we knew it was time to upgrade from the plastic training pen. As any bulldog owner knows, these dogs are built like little tanks, so I wanted something sturdy enough to handle the breed, easy to clean, and attractive enough to actually look nice in our home. This crate checked every single box. First, these are absolutely beautiful. They look like real furniture rather than a traditional dog crate, which makes a huge difference in the appearance of the room. The construction is incredibly solid and shockingly heavy, giving me confidence that they’ll stand up to years of use. I also love the practical design. The multiple doors make access easy from any angle, the removable trays simplify cleanup, and the wheels are a game changer. Being able to roll the crate out and clean underneath without breaking my back is worth its weight in gold. I saw several reviews mentioning difficult assembly, misaligned pilot holes, or broken screws, so I was a little nervous going in. Thankfully, I experienced none of those issues. Every hole lined up properly, the hardware fit as intended, and the assembly process was straightforward. One tip: don’t fully tighten your screws until the section is assembled. Leaving everything slightly loose gives you a little wiggle room if needed and makes alignment much easier. I assembled two crates using hand tools because I didn’t want to risk stripping or shearing any screws. Even taking my time (while being constantly “helped” by a curious bulldog puppy), I had both crates completed in about 4.5 hours. The end result was absolutely worth it. My older bulldog loves her new space, the puppy has plenty of room to stretch out comfortably, and I have peace of mind knowing they’re safe and secure while Mom and Dad are at work. If you’re looking for a crate that is strong enough for powerful breeds, beautiful enough to blend into your home, and thoughtfully designed for everyday use, this is it. I could not be happier with this purchase.

To start off I did buy a stick-on wallpaper to put on the bottom so that the dogs chain would not get stuck. I did have both dogs test it before the wallpaper and neither one of them got stuck But I could totally see that happening. I also have a attached to the side food bowl that I bought years ago on Amazon that fits this really well. The one thing I would like to see is more support in the back, like I would have liked the more solid grating in the back instead of the bars in the back. The wheels are extremely cheap but they do work. I don't know if they'll work for very long but they do work. I weigh 250 lb and at one point I had to lay on my back inside when it was almost completely done to get a screw tightened so I do know it will carry or hold up to 250 lb. It's big enough for both of my dogs and they are both large. The Australian Shepherd is 65 lb and the husky is 75 lb. It is a little shorter than I would like for my husky but the husky still likes it. Both of my dogs are crate trained and they actually really love their crate, they think of it as like their personal space, so I don't think that they'll ever try to get out but there are three latches for every gate which makes me feel a lot better. I had bought it to replace the last picture It was a solid wood double dog crate, I think these two together are going to be a little bit bigger than that double dog crate, But this is going to be far easier to clean under and around. Also the wooden double dog crates didn't lock nearly as secure as these crates.
