I even noticed fewer cramps — which surprised me because I assumed it was just my flow. In my opinion, these are so much better than the thicker Kotex pads. I'd rather switch these out multiple times than use the thicker ones. For one thing, they're much stickier, so they actually stay in place. I've used them on a variety of underwear types, and the type of cloth doesn't make a difference; they stick to cotton as well as nylon and stretchier material like lycra. Even though they advertise as being "ultra thin," they absorb a good amount without leakage. I've been using them postpartum and they're so much more comfortable than the heavier pads. The only downside is the charcoal. It get that it absorbs smell, but it's hard to tell how much you're bleeding when it's against a gray background.
