These are very good, replacing some awful press & pull locks from Boots at the same price.Be aware that the adhesive backing is instant and can't be re-positioned without destroying the backing. The instructions say that the fixed locking plate can't be opened once it is locked but you can open it it with a thin sharp blade in the bottom corner to open the ratchet and remove the strap ( try a Stanley knife blade ). This is useful if your little darlings visit infrequently and you don't want the daily inconvenience of the strap. A clever child would figure out how to open it - just forbid them to touch them; it's called discipline and a useful lesson for later in life...

I'm very pleased with these locks, they work well on wooden surfaces and also in the kitchen where we have one of those shiny sort of cupboards. They're easy to use and there is no chance to get your fingers caught like with the traditional screw in ones. Very pleased, I highly recommend them.

Like these and easy to use - just not happy about them not being re-usable if removed.

This was purchased to guard the fridge and freezer against a rather determined husky, rather than a child. I am happy to say it has worked well so far despite his attempts! I will have to reapply once he chews through it but the adhesive is great and the plastic has so far withstood at least 4 hours of chewing. Great product!! Would be great in silver though as the brown looks odd on the fridge. See picture for condition of child lock after the said 4 hours.

Excellent product! So much so..I bought two sets. Good quality, easy to put on and stay put! Plus they open well when needed..no fiddling around. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks😀

It's a well made product, but my 20 month old figured out how to open them in minutes.

Great product to keep those sneaky little ones out of places they shouldn’t be. Used them on cupboards,ovens and fridges. Make sure you set the length correctly otherwise they will pull peel off from the strain. Also handy to use if the hinges on a oven door leave a small gap. Stops the heat escaping when cooking. Great price on these would recommend

The media could not be loaded.  These locks are not fit for purpose. I have only rated them one star as they were easy to apply and convenient for the adult to use one handed.My 18 month old had opened these within 24hrs.

Easy to use

I tried a lot of different styles. Some didn’t latch well, others were difficult to operate and others just didn’t last. Six or seven years ago I got these for my dogs that figured out how to open the kitchen cabinet and feast on trash. These things performed great the whole time and I’m buying new ones because we decided to paint the cabinets. Good product.

I have these on almost all of my household cabinets to keep my toddler out. They are not so easy to put back together when the plastic strip slides out of the base so be careful not to pull so hard while you’re adjusting. Once it’s on the surface intended, it’s on for good! Works wonders against the terrible twos! Would buy again.

These are easy to use, easy to install and look great. I used them to lock our oven. I am cautiously optimistic that they will hold up after repeated use of the oven. I will update in a few month with how they are holding upUpdate: these work very well as oven locks for me. Our oven does a very good job of insulating the heat in. The door and side of oven barely get warm when the oven is on so I have no problem with the heat interfereing with the adhesive. Be cautious when you attach the lock that the strap part is on the door otherwise the strap gets a bend in it and is easily caught in the oven when you close it. Lesson learned. However when I removerd it to reapply another one I was able to learn a couple things. The adhesive mostly came off in one piece with a couple strong tugs. Fairly easy for an adult to get off but I'm still confident it would be very difficult for a child, even a persistent one to get off. For the adhesive that did stick, I was able to slowly peel off and it can in one piece. There was a slight ring of adhesive left on the stove door which I was able to clean off with some vinegar and water. I do think that may be more difficult the longer that the lock is on the oven. Overall still very happy with my purchase!

I have bought several of these and I love them. They keep my youngest out of the pantry, bifold closets and our china cabinet. Pretty sturdy and I would buy again.
