Not much to write really beautifully written and realized a great, great, script.

Gives a good insight into the meaning of the movie but still plenty of room for further interpretation.

A must for all Donnie Darko fans!

well what can i say apart from "wow"the book took my breath away and was such a good read i had to read it at least another to two times because it was that good!the script itself for donnie darko is very eerie and has a tangible feeling about it and the book has that same feelingi love the fact that the book also contains the deleted scenes from the film which unless youve got the dvd youve probably not seen.this isnt just a book,its something that with the film also will change history.if you dont read it your missing out on something really special!

Well, the best film of all time in my opinion is Donnie Darko - it had everything, it was dark, funny, sad, mysterious and intriguing. It never had all the answers the film was made for us to decipher but besides: I gave this book 5 stars not only because this is a good film but because this is a good book. It should sit with the DVD or VHS because they both practically need each other. Amazon haven't really revealed much else on the contents because they revealed it spot on and that's exactly what you're getting: interview, screenplay etc. what you'd expect from a film companion. There are a few things revealed but nothing you wouldn't have worked out for yourself, but interesting all the more - some things may be surprising. Buy it, check it out, it's awesome!

Quite a slight 'book' on the movie, it amounts to a short but interesting interview with the director that covers the genesis of the script and production, a few images from and inspired by the film and a few pages from the imaginary book on time travel mentioned in the actual movie. The remainder of the book is taken up with the screenplay.It felt like they were scraping the barrel to put this book together in a way, although if you were just looking for a copy of the screen play, these additional items would seem like value added content.
