TROND Eye-Care LED Desk Lamp (10W, 3 Adjustable Color Temperatures, 7-Level Dimmable, Memory Function, Flexible Gooseneck, Flicker-Free)

Having had a bulky (now rusting!) Anglepoise lamp on my desk for many years (overshadowing everything and getting in the way of the screen!) - I finally got around to ordering this Trond desk lamp ... what a little beauty it is - love the soft black finish - I could almost sit here and stroke it under moments of stress! Its big enough to overarch my laptop, but not so big it dominates (like the Anglepoise did!) the three types of light, warm, medium and cool are useful for different times of the day or night. The simple touch and swipe switch is a joy to use. The light is even - no flicker, not glary, very easy on the eyes and most important to me, it doesn;t interfere with any images on my laptop - I can edit my photos without having to turn it away (you guessed it like the Anglepoise!) Its a thing of beauty that also works - can't say fairer than that!! It arrived extremely well packaged and on time - can;t say fairer - item on desk working as I write!

I've been after a daylight lamp for use in my craftroom for ages.Cannot praise this lamp enough, it's perfect for my requirements. I like the fact that it isn't portable or battery powered.It gives off excellent light whilst not being over powering. Being able to dim the light is a huge benefit. And the design of contols is superb.I now feel very comfortable crafting into the night, being able to see what ever project I'm working on, under the same conditions at night time is brilliant.I had to resist ordering another one for the left handside of my desk, realistically it's not needed. The current lamp gives off enough light for my whole desk.Once I get another desk to expand my craft area, I will also order another lamp.

Great so far. Brought one for myself & one as a present. I love being able to dim it down I just use it on the first setting for getting in and out of bed and for reading turn it up. It was great when I wanted to do some close up work the other day moved it onto the work top and I could see what I was doing. It's super adjustable in the stem. It feels stable too. It is a little bit tricky to turn on in the dark it has resulted in some lightening effects as I turned it on and off again by accident fumbling for the "switch"! it sits a bit above my head level when I'm in bed so I can't see the light for the on/ off switch.

This lamp came to me packaged in a box within another box the second box contained the lamp which was embedded in a polystyrene molded case. Fantastic total protection .Enclosed within is a lovely designed lamp sleek and modern with a touch on/off button which when you slide your finger up and down changes the brightness several levels from an ambient to a full strong but not blinding, pleasant light also if you hold down the on/off switch this sets a 30 minute timer so the lamp turns itself off if you should fall asleep while reading etc..As for positioning the lamp i have mine on my pc desk where the flexible neck allows it to bend into more positions than the karma sutra could dream of .If you need a pc, or bedside table reading lamp i suggest you look no further than the Trond Halo.

Don't know what happened to the surface powder coating of my desk lamp. Tried to remove flecks, spatters with a Pledge sprayed duster and thus, made it much worse. Obviously the surface is not resistant to ordinary houshold cleaning agents. Have they not tested the product to meet specifications before deciding on the kind of coating? Since it's not for sale on amazon anymore, I guess there may have been some complaints.

love the way this product works, looks, feels, it doesn't have a glaring backlight (as the clip on version) which I prefer, like the quality of light and being able to position the head of the lamp in several ways is a great plus point. Nice that you can switch on and off with no 'clicking noise' (so as not to wake my husband). Thoroughly recommend

Excellent desk lamp that provides a range of light settings through a simple touch sensitive switch. Good value and well made and particularly good for people who are sensitive to bright light that can exacerbate migraines.
