Mira Excel Spares Cartridge Assembly Black (903.33) Thermostatic Pre-2002 Replacement

This Mira Excel cartridge assembly is fairly easy to install. Just take photos or notes of the old installation as you go. Once installed it works very well. I am very pleased with my purchase. Do not forget to turn your water off before installation.

Faster than expected delivery and the unit was perfect, as expected.

The replacement Mira shower cartridge came on time and fitted well. The only problem was increasing the hot water flow but this was resolved by watching a video on YouTube.

Very expensive for what they do but was needed and works correctly

Arrived quickly and fitted in 15 mins. Shower now turns on and off more easily. BUT only three stars to Amazon because the item would cost less if purchased direct from Amazon's supplier as well as several others.

Excellent replacement cartridge saving the expense of replacing the whole shower unit. Instructions are in the box. Make sure the hot and cold water supplies to the shower are cut off before commencing. Once the outer controls have been removed there are only 4 screws to undo to remove the old cartridge.Note how the old cartridge sits before removing (red and blue markers). I found it difficult to switch the control at the back of the new unit from "low" to "high" water pressure using the red key provided but it did move eventually. After that just spread the silicon grease on the inlets and outlets, insert the cartridge the correct way up and secure with the old screws. There are slightly differing instructions depending on the colours used in the old units. The above is for purple cartridges.

Arrived promptly, easy to follow instructions. Cheaper than paying for a plumber! 20 minutes, all done.

I needed a replacement cartridge for a client of mine , as theirs had not worked since they bought their house 2yrs ago.
