The outfit is really cute. My daughter needed it for a living wax museum at school for people from the 1800s and it worked perfect. Looked a lot less cheap than some of the other costumes we looked at prior to buying this one. Top was too itchy for my daughter so you may want to put a shirt on under it. She wears a 14 and we bought the XL. The top fit but was made on the small side in my opinion, so if you’re in doubt, size up! I did based on reviews and was glad I did! She is a very tall 10 year old (almost 5’ tall) so the skirt wasn’t an issue for her but it was pretty long. It would be easy to roll up though if needed. 4 stars because it was a bit overpriced and the top was itchy and very snug.

Purchased for a school play and worked out perfectly for my 9 year old

This dress is easy to wear. Fit just right for people with height of 4'10 and above. This costume comes in two pieces. The top and skirts. You can just adjust the height of the skirt or wear heels if you r a little shorter. The top has a velcro closure for easy wear. We liked it. Thank you Charades Costume.

This outfit was great, surprisingly well made. Ran a little big, but not bad. We bought it for an 1840's Victorian look. My daughter is a size 10, and had to cuff the top of the skirt (rather than hem it), but the top fit well. She can probably use this for years. The black skirt is great- I anticipate using it for other costumes in the future. The little bows on the top would be easy to swap out for another color if wanted.

After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about the skirt which turned out to be perfect, the right size in length and the waist was great. The top was a little big but nothing you can’t fix or just leave it as is. It really help because she was able to use an under shirt, here is really cold. All the details were perfect. My girl loved it so I’m satisfied.

My daughter is 9years old (4th grade) 145cm, 35kg.I bought size M (8-10) this time, skirt lengths is perfect but blouse is a bit tight.I better buy size L...She said the laces on the sleeves are itchy.

It is a limited use costume, not a multi use outfit. I would estimate it is good for 10 wearings. I would not want to wash it in the machine more than 3 times. Was good to be Betsy Ross or Martha Washington.
