This turned out to be great for my needs. It’s pretty, assembled and finished nicely. It is a sturdy stool. I love the fact it is made from wood.

It is a very well made, compact, solid little stool. It could have many uses. It’s perfect for a child or pet. I grab it for a quick boost up to reach the top shelf in the cupboard or closet, with one foot on it. It easily holds 350 pounds with no problem. It is not a large step stool. I think children could comfortably stand with both feet on it, or sit. My cats like to sit on them, my very old cat uses one to get into his cat tree because he cannot jump anymore. I liked it so much, I bought this second one, and it is every bit as nice as the first one. It is a beautifully made, lovely little stool. It is worth every penny, as it will last a lifetime. I would definitely order other products from this company.

I needed a stool to use to reach things on high cabinet shelves. This one is very pretty and sturdy. I got it in "chocolate"- the wood grain is nice as is the color. It doesn't seem to have a real "finish" on it, so I rubbed beeswax polish on it and it now has a lovely shine. It seems to be sturdy, and is not at all tippy- sit's on the floor nicely. There are felt pads on the bottom of each leg. I think it will do the job nicely for me as as step stool. The big disappointment was that I thought it was made in the USA...on the box, it says "Proudly made of USA hardwoods" in big letters, but in small letters says "Made in the PRC" which of course is the People's Republic of China. Seems a waste that USA hardwood is sent to China to be made into stools and then sent back here. Why not have American workers make these little stools right here in a factory in the USA?? So as I said, learning that was a disappointment. I'm going to keep it anyway, as I searched for "made in USA" stools and couldn't find one I liked. Even tried to find an Amish made one, but all the ones I saw were bulky/weird. Even though this stool was NOT made in the USA, I do really find it attractive, and I'm glad I got one that didn't have any weird dark woodgrain streaks in it or anything like that. The grain of the wood is nice and even, and that made me happy!

Very happy with this order, the wood is so beautiful and it came all assembled. Solid hardwood, something we will have for many many years.
