Great grip!
This tape is great for climbing! It’s the first tape I’ve used that doesn’t feel like it’s slipping off right away. It grips well to both the fingers and holds. It’s a little softer/stretchier than other tapes I tried so it’s easy to get it tight. It tears easily lengthwise for smaller strips as well. Definitely recommend.

Fixes hurt fingys
Does your fingy hurt during a climb? Tape it up. Suck it up. Keep climbing until your fingy falls off. Then tape it back on.I rip mine into narrow strips for easy fingy wrapping.Perfectly functional. Very sticky even with chalky hands. Good price. Perfect thickness to protect and still feel. Usually durable enough to not need re-taping in a session. Perfect size to fit in your chalk bucket pocket

This isn’t what it was designed for but…
To be clear I did but this for its intended purpose and it’s great for that too. However my Xbox is mounted under my desk and the mount is smooth metal the Xbox casing is smooth plastic I had too many close calls just by barely pressing the power button. So I decided to try the tape carefully wrapped it around the bottom rail of the mount and the Xbox barely slides. In fact it take effort to remove. The only issue I’ve had with its intended function is the sticky side and my feet don’t get along I got this to improve grip on mats at MMA gym. I have yet to try it for climbing but it holds up well when on my palms/fingers just not so much my feet which is sad because it’s the perfect amount of added grip.

I bought all the tapes and like this one the best
I've found tape is particular to the activity and skin type. I rock climb and sweat minimally with dryish skin. It goes mostly on my fingers and i don't have much body hair. That being said I've tried metolius, evolv magic tape, leukotape p, mueller eurotape, and friction labs tape. I bought them all at the same time to decide what was best for me.Friction lab tape sticks well and the best thing is that it rips really easily which when I'm trying to put tape on one of my fingers is super useful. Note once it is on, it doesn't rip.The other tapes can stick better (leukotape), cost less (metolius), or only stick to itself (evolv), but the friction lab tape was my fav as it was good all around and the simple ripping was very useful to me.Again, i do use the other tapes and theyre all pretty good, but this tape was my fav for my activity and skin type

It's sticky and effective
I've struggled with tape rolling, losing grip with my finger, but this one has been extremely effective and sticky. I've used it in the gym and at the crag, works super well no matter where!

Easy to cut, but very thin
I use a ton of athletic cotton tape in my job. I have tried tons of different brands of cotton tape. Some are thicker and some are thinner. This is definitely on the thinner side. That can be good, because it makes it easy to tear off. But at the same time thinner means it will wear down/tear faster. There isn't a whole lot on the roll either in my opinion. It is pretty sticky on the outside edges of the tape roll. I think it is weird that it is advertised as a finger tape. I feel like finger tape is usually 1 inch to .5 in wide. I tape ankles with 1.5". If you split the tape in half and just make it a half roll, then it would fit fingers a lot better. It would also make it last longer. For the price, this is definitely not worth it. Go to Walmart or sporting good stores and get a 3 dollar roll of meuller or J&J white cotton tape. It will provide you with the same things this tape does but at half the price.
