I'm ordering a new replacement battery on top of this battery.Issue: The battery fits only about 98% of the way. The two photos uploaded show that the left side holes are only slightly off (too short) but the rest of the screw points are just slightly off.For right now, the battery does work and is compatible, but shouldn't require that two out of the 7 screws be kept inside the case. I'm hoping the second battery works, and will update my rating only if it is resolved. If not, rating will stay.

I got this battery when my dell xps battery puffed up and pushed up the touch pad. The laptop worked fine initially. However, I started getting Power Adapter not enough wattage message and the system refused to boot - I am using original 130W Dell power adapter!! I contacted Dell and they sent original battery replacement, things started working and I can now use the laptop.I cant even return this battery - I just boughtit in December 2017 - just three months ago!!

fit perfectly but defective , does not charge, went through multiple chargers and troubleshooting with dell. 4 amber 1 white blinks. Battery failure DOA.

I was a little nervous to buy a battery online but had no issues installing it or using it.

says will fit XPS 9550, but need to first open up laptop to check what's there, as after receiving it, found that was too long to fit into laptop and had to return. Cannot otherwise comment on it
