Only brand that holds up well at all
Almost eight years ago now, I found myself in need of an air mattress. My now-husband, then-boyfriend had just moved in with me and neither of us could tolerate sleeping with another person in the bed :D. So my parents let me borrow theirs, which was a very fancy brand that is even more expensive than King Koil. My husband hated it -- it would slowly deflate during the night and there were a bunch of little support rods that would be poking him in the back when he woke up. Those same rods eventually poked holes in the mattress itself. So we tried a couple of brands across varying price ranges. Literally every single one except for this one had at least one hole in it just a few months in. This one held up to pretty regular use for over a year before developing its first hole/leak, and we were able to use the patches that it came with to patch it up. This surprisingly worked great and it held up for almost another year after that before we finally no longer had need for an air mattress, as we moved and got a larger bed.Anyways, we found ourselves in need of some air mattresses for visitors to sleep on. I did my research to see whether any new brands had come out with a better quality mattress in the past 8 or so years, but it seems like there hasn't been much movement in this space :D. So after researching other brands and looking at cost vs. benefit, we decided to just go with this brand again. It's been holding up great and everyone thinks they are super comfortable! One thing I especially like about this one that seems kind of minor but ends up being a big deal is that the outer ring being inflated more than the inner space prevents my pillow from sliding backwards during my sleep. I get the same quality sleep on these beds as I do on a normal mattress. The height has been good for everyone, including older family members with back/joint issues.

Just as good as a "real" mattress! SERIOUSLY.
I bought two of these (Queen size) for "temporary" functionality when I moved into a new house, across the country. This was in October 2024. I am still regularly sleeping on one, it's truly THAT comfortable, and it's been 6 months. I am restoring a vintage home, with vintage furniture, so it will take time to find the "right" bedroom set for my guest room. I am absolutely amazed how comfortable this air mattress is!! I have slept on other ones prior, and they were cold, and uncomfortable. Like sleeping on a balloon. As someone who has sporadic lower back pain, this mattress is truly supportive, and I am rarely uncomfortable. It's super easy to set up, the enclosed pump is super convenient, and rarely needs to be topped off. I'd say I top it off once a month, if that. The height is perfect, it's not so low that it's difficult to get up. It supports two people easily, and doesnt dip at all. It's actually WAY more comfortable than my prior mattress which was thick foam. I added a thin cooling mattress pad, and a padded matress cover, to elimiate any wierd plastic baloon feeling. PERFECTION. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Solid air mattress
This air mattress is awesome. Inflates and deflates quickly. Easy to store as well. Stayed pretty well inflated (no worse than any other mattress). Way I see it, it’s never a bad thing when guests are provided a surface to sleep on that isn’t perfect. Ensures they don’t stay too long…Definitely worth the purchase price.

Does as promised
Bought this more expensive air mattress durability and its promise to retain air over long periods of time. Hats off to King Koil. Both mattresses work fantastic. So far so good!

Awesome king-size portable inflatable bed
This thing is great. Has it own pump attached and easy to use. Inflates rather quick. Comes with a built in pillow. Perfect for camping and house guests

Not the size I ordered (or as stated on box)
Wrong size. I ordered a California king (72x84). The box says California king. The mattress is smaller - 68x 80. Which I see online is a common size in RVs. Strange though! Tall family so not great for us.Also - this is my second King Koil. Loved the first one, which is super high - at least 20 inches, easier to get up from! This one is much shorter - only 13 inches tall. Also not what it says on the box.The other one we have is great, we used in guest room for a year and everyone liked. Stays inflated. This is disappointing this one is the wrong size. Heavy to have to walk a few blocks to return it to UPS!

Great value & solid choice
Took a chance on this air mattress despite the mixed reviews, and I’m glad I did! It’s surprisingly comfortable, has held up perfectly with no issues, and it’s spacious enough for our family of five. Great value and a solid choice!
