It will physically roll over gravel, and carry the 5-gallon bucket, but bear in mind the wheels are only about 3 inches in diameter, so depends on the grade of gravel, and they are not rubber, but a durable plastic. It rolls best on a smooth surface and may also tend to tip on uneven ground.

Is there a difference between the all black and the silver and black 2 wheel cart? The silver is posted as lighter weight.
