Kombucha scoby

I purchased the 2 scobys and it worked great for two 1/2 gallon batches. I also purchased their organic black tea. Took about 10 days and had some yummy bucha and two beautiful new scobys. Made starting bucha easy.

Let it ferment for over two weeks, no sign of a new pellicle on top and very weird after taste on tasting, so dumped it. Trying another brand of starter now. Wonder if it got killed in transit. Would not buy again

This is my first batch ever and I'll post the pics and progress as my brew ferments and with the development of the SCOBY daughter as well as the flavor once complete

This is how I received my SCOBYS. Leaking, super pressurized inside the bag, and just overall messy.
