It was earlier than expected and also the adapter worked. it came with multiple adapters and one of them worked for my cross-stitch lamp. Chuffed to bits. I thought I might have to buy a new lamp and they are not cheap.

PSU Got hot smell of burning, BANG!
I purchased two of these universal 5v PSU's in May 2023. Seemed OK at first, put one put to work powering a ethernet switch. The second one I kept as a spare, untill today. Plugged it into a wall socket within seconds a smell of burning 🔥 and a loud BANG! Thankfully the power socket tripped in my main house fuse and all power sockets in the house were turned off. I won't be using these again. Don't seem to be able to get a refund, only 3 months warranty.

The main thing I liked is the interchange of different types of inputs saves keeping lots of separate wires just in case you may need them very compact
