This lamp changed the whole look of my desk...i love it...it's gorgeous

Solid piece! Doesn't look chintzy, gives a warm glow with the recommended lightbulb. The pull chain gives a satisfying, solid click. The stem of the lamp is a bit blurry in the detail, but no one will look at that with such a neat shade. Will provide more than enough light at work to keep the overhead off while I write on the desk by hand, giving my eyes a break from the computer.Only issue I have is that about 2/3s of the shade is actually lit, with the area where the bulb socket is darker. As a smaller desk lamp, it's more noticeable, but not at all an issue. I might buy a second one for home when this one goes to the office!

Excellent quality, beautiful colors -looks beautiful turned off & even prettier on! Bought it as a gift for my Niece when she graduated with her PHD and she LOVED it! I almost wanted to keep it for myself -it was that pretty!

The amber and colored parts of the shade are glass. Unfortunately the white parts of the shade are plastic.It appears to me to be high grade plastic, but plastic non-the-less.

Es una lástima porque el soporte de metal de atrás está quebrado y la pantalla queda torcida, se vence. Me siento decepcionada, porque el cristal es muy fino y elegante, pero no puedo usarla. Esto deja en evidencia un mal control de calidad, pues lo que era menos probable de recibir dañado, era la estructura.

I am really enjoying this lamp. The shade is very nicely made.
