Small perfect rice mounds for nigiri.
Excellent little tool that will save me time making rice squares for nigiri. I didn't get to use it tonight because I was making sashimi and tataki, but I will. Lightweight and small but which is good, since I was worried it would make bigger pieces like masubi or something. Easy to wash and dry. I appreciate it's small compact size and consider it an easy to use alternative to hand rolling. Recommend.

The Easy Way To Homemade Sushi
The coolest thing about making sushi at home is, you control the ingredients, and once made, it couldn't be any fresher than your local sushi place. While using a sushi mat is still a valuable accessory, these molds allow you to create your own rice bed for fish, shrimp, eel, even marinated vegetables. For best results, it is imperative to start with sushi rice: the rice is formulated to create that smooth, slightly sticky texture that allows the fish to adhere - then adorn with a seaweed 'ring', and some sprinkled sesame seeds on top. If you have access to a genuine fishmonger, you can even purchase "sushi grade" tuna and salmon for your next cocktail party or get-together.

Was skeptical but LOVE LOVE LOVE this. Cuts my sushi making time in half!! So easy to use and surprised it works for well for the price. Most other molds were twice the price. Happy with this purchase!

Smaller than I was expecting but it is still a good product. I was able to make sushis for a big party with no issues.

Mini-Musubi for the Win
I ordered this to make mini, two-bite spam musubi for my teen's potluck, end of year party. Tested it out and it worked great. The rice didn't stick to the mold at all and came out beautifully. 3 cans of spam and 7 cups of sushi rice yielded 9 dozen nigiri-sized musubi. I used a wire spam slicer that slices the spam into 9 slices, then sliced those into 4 pieces each. I purchased the half-sheet sized nori sheets and cut them into 5 pieces each which were then the perfect size to wrap each mini-musubi. Inexpensive dish to feed hungry teens at a potluck.
