DeLonghi KBOV 2001.BG electrical kettle - electric kettles (50/60 Hz)

I ordered this kettle on behalf of my mother. She bought the kettle to replace the old DeLonghi kettle. She did not want another kettle just the same one she had before because she is very happy with it.

Fantastic kettle, well worth it!

I’m over the moon with this purchase! I have been on the look out for this Icona Vintage Kettle as still out of stock from main stores until I’ve come across this one in amazon. I was hesitant at first because of the bad reviews and the huge drop in price. I thought I’d give it a go and would return if anything goes wrong. My purchase has just arrived now and I don’t regret one bit! The design is impressive as expected. So chic and aesthetically pleasing and would make a very good addition to any kitchen. I bought the “Used-but good as new” for £61 as I’m guessing these are the returned ones. It wasn’t used at all, you can tell because of the intact packaging, no marks of being used or any scratches. The main issue was the EU plug and all I did was buy a three-point adaptor from Amazon which I've included in the picture if anyone’s interested and it worked perfectly! It's a huge kettle with a capacity of 1.7L which any family of 4-5 would benefit from. Only took 5 minutes to boil a full capacity. It's lightweight as well despite the very durable look. Very high quality looking! If there's any downside to this is that the stainless steel body can get very hot, ‘would be very cautious if there are any children around. It makes a proper boiling kettle sound as well which can be a petty issue for some people but I don't mind at all. It has an auto shut-off feature and doesn't make a sound when done. I hope this would help, now go buy your dream kettle!

A great looking kettle but expensive. Slow to boil and quite noisy. Bought because it looks great.

As other reviewers have said, this comes with an EU plug instead of a UK one. Obviously I should have read the reviews before placing the order! Why Amazon UK are selling electrical items (dispatched from the UK warehouse with next day delivery) that can't be used in the UK is a mystery. It should be made clear in the product listing that this does not have a UK plug.

Arrived on time. Would have been helpful if it stated that a two pin plug was fitted and not an English plug. Have had it fixed now at extra cost to myself!!

Kettle is fine but it has a European plug so then had to purchase an adaptor

Had to buy an adapter to use my kettle as I use 3 pin not a 2 pin plug , would of thought Amazon and the Manufacturer would of known this when I ordered the kettle! tried to send back but Amazon had no replacement option and have waited long enough to get this one .
