The older version is pictured on the left and the newer one was on the right. Note the difference in the granularity. The old one on the right iis a fine powder, the one on the left is more coarse,like pepper. It made me wonder—like the MD review here—-is the capsule thicker and the product not effective because it stays together through out my digestion? I also wondered if it was possibly fake? The artwork of the brand is also different (thinner font) and the label seems cheaper—even the box it came is did not have the shiny appearance of the former package. The new one looks cheaper. If it is authentic product, it is definitely less costly to make vs the fancier box that was curved and not a box. Because the package and art look so different, I believe that it is authentic —not a bad fake. I plan to call the manufacturer, I expect their customer service to be on top of this and will see if I can edit this review later.
