this little beauty works great for small jobs. the duty cycle is a bit low but i use it around my own garage for repairs and building random things and so far, 2 years later it still works just fine. took awhile to get the hang of it but it was probably me and my lack of technique than the machine. good price if you need something small that is pretty versatile. air line connections looked pretty flimsy but i made a bracket for the airline to secure it to the welder so it will not stress on the fitting.

After getting a bottle of Argon and a regulator, I was able to set this TIG welder up easily. I went with a YESWELDER gas regulator and had no issues hooking it up. The welder comes with a gas line, you so only need the regulator itself (and a bottle of Argon). I picked up some tungsten and I was ready to weld. This machine is small and light. It easily fits, with room for the power cable when unplugged, on the welding cart I picked up from the local dock cargo store. I am not a very experienced welder. I have done flux core and stick welding in my garage. I also took a welding class at a local college. This is my first gas welder at home, and I am absolutely thrilled with how it has performed. This machine is just like the ones I was using in the college welding lab, even though I'm on 110 volts. Plus, I am perfectly happy using the button instead of the foot pedal, which would have been another thing to purchase. The controls are intuitive, and I had no trouble making adjustments. When you turn it off while on 110V, it reads 220V on the screen for a few seconds before turning off. It freaked me out the first time, but I guess it just says that while it's powering down. Even if you unplug it, the capacitors hold power and keeps the screen lit up for several seconds. There's quite a bit of cost required to make this machine usable as a TIG welder, but you can use it for stick welding with just some consumable rods. If you are looking to TIG weld some steel in your garage, this machine can make it happen.

Todo conectado correctamente, pero tiene algún defecto. No funcionan los pulsos. Al pulsar el boton en 4T se detiene si lo sueltas o incluso no dura más de 2 segundos en el proceso. En el 2T ocurre lo mismo, no funcionan los pulsos. Solo noté que funciona si despegas mucho el electrodo comienza a hacer su función, pero al momento de que te acercas a la pieza aún así genera mucho calor y no lo hace correctamente. Tiempo perdido!
