The best kitchen gadget I didn't know I needed
I bought this specifically to make paninis, but didn't realize how much I needed this press in my kitchen. I use it all the time now. I even bought the add-on waffle plates and waffle just about anything that will fit.The double-sided plates are excellent with the raised grill lines on one side and the flat plate on the other. I use both sides regularly and they were great for their desired results. I keep coming up in new ways to use the thing and now put it to work three or four times a week at various meals. The removable trays are one of the marquee features of this device and one of the key decision points I had for getting it. I've had similar cooking devices (like waffle makers) with fixed plates and they're a nightmare to clean up. The ceramic coating on the reversible cooking trays sweat off everything. Add that to the fact the cooking trays are removable makes for ridiculously easy cleanup. Just don't use metal utensils as they will scratch the coating and destroy the non-stick surface. If there was one criticism that I would have, it's that the drip tray fills up really quickly when you're trying to fry bacon or doing something else with a lot of fat content in it. If it does start filling up, it's not practical to pull it out and empty it mid-cook if there's still more fat running out. You'll end up with this huge mess all over the counter with the drip tray out. This is manageable and you just have to be cautious about the quantity you're cooking when prepping something particularly fatty (again, bacon). Definitely not worth downgrading the score over this as the drip tray is more than sufficient for most uses, but something that almost caused me a problem. Okay, one other thing: there's a mandatory timer you have to set every time you turn the heat on. I understand the purpose of the forced timer - it's to protect against you walking away and forgetting the thing is on - but the timer is kind of a nuisance if you set it too short and the machine shuts off before you're done using it. I only did this once. Now I just set the timer at 45 minutes so I've got plenty of time to finish cooking whatever. This way I shut it off manually before the timer ever runs out. The device always remembers the last used temperature and timer setting which is super convenient, so it's kind of set once and don't worry about it. Again, not worth marking down the score over it, just worth a mention in case anybody else is running into same problem.Overall, I'm deliriously happy with this press and can't recommend it highly enough.

Works and looks good.
The panini press is decent size. You can use it to make variety of sandwiches. One can opt to use just one plate or both and can also set the temperature. The plates are reversible and can be easily removed for cleaning. When you put in ciabatta bread, it might slide out. For that I just hold the top gently from the front and then it just stays in place. Note the hinges are made of plastic and any heavy pressure might break those things so just be wary of that. Otherwise it works just fine.

This grill does everything!
I was not sure about this grill, but I thought I would take a chance. It was a well made decision. With separate heating decks, you can make different products on each grill surface. The non-stick grill surfaces are easy to clean and simply attach to the heating elements. No major processes to go through to remove or replace the grill surfaces. The grill surfaces have two (2) different patterns. One as a griddle and the other with raised surfaces where you can do steaks, chops, hot dogs, etc. Very flexable configurations.Gary in CT.

Great heating, poor draining
This is great in terms of what it needs to do at an easy price. Because it cooks flat (unlike a George Foreman grill), it doesn’t drain as much grease. It’s a good value, though, and seems to be very good quality. I love that you can put the heating plates in the dishwasher.

Super useful small kitchen appliance
Excellent grill! The machine itself very functional and I love that the plates are ceramic coated. I’m also pretty stoked that you can buy waffle plates and make it a more multipurpose appliance, makes it great for a kitchen with a small footprint!

Look for another brand
This is a so so item. Grilling is ok. Cleaning the grills is a pain. Not non stick surface after a couple of uses.

Phenomenal
This grill is fantastic! highly recommend. I barely wiped it and it was clean. The chicken came out perfect. My ONLY complaint is the the little metal hooks that hold the plates on get messy easily and not so easy to clean. But if that's the only issue, I will take it.

Great quality product and easy to clean
I think this product is really well worth every penny. Cooks and works well. It’s easy to see the heat level and fits well on our countertop. It’s easy to clean and parts come off to be washed.
