This is an absolutely stunning watch. Personally I think it looks better than grand seiko and they make my favorite watches. The second is very smooth and the clear backing shows the beautiful movement. I love the open heart and the facets are absolutely stunning. Don’t buy a standard kamasu which can be close to the price of this. Save for another 2 weeks. This watch is nothing short of perfection.

I bought this RK-AT0009N from MS-TR JAPAN seller expecting typical mechanical watch accuracy (±10-15 sec/day per spec), but after wearing it continuously for a month, I'm shocked by the results. I measured systematically: after 30 days of 24/7 wearing, the watch lost only 5 seconds total. That's roughly -0.17 seconds per day average - dramatically better than the published specification and better than watches costing 10-20x more. Some context: I wear this watch continuously (even sleeping), which helps with automatic winding and apparently optimizes positional averaging. The power reserve indicator never drops below 90%, usually sitting at 95-100%. My lifestyle is ordinary (desk job, 30min daily walking), so this isn't from extreme activity. The open-heart dial is beautiful, no-date complication means zero maintenance, and the sapphire crystal is flawless. JDM quality is noticeably better than export models I've handled. I can't guarantee every unit performs like this (mechanical watches have individual variation), but I won the lottery with mine. At $500, this is absurd value. I've stopped looking at "upgrade" watches costing $5-10k because this simply performs better. Highly recommended for anyone who wants set-and-forget mechanical timekeeping.
