Osprey Ultralight Collapsible Stuff Pack, Waterfront Blue OS

Never disappointed with an Osprey product! Collapses super small. Easy to stow or attach to a larger bag and perfect for travel where you have to mind how much luggage to bring. The material is thin, but strong. Obviously there is no support with a bag like this but it is a solid trade off for weight and portability. There’s also limited organization and pockets but does have nice water bottle holders and small top zippered compartment. I brought this bag for a caving/tubing adventure in Puerto Rico. It was submerged and dragged through mud and tossed around on the back of a 4x4. Sure it was dirty after that, but a quick wash and it’s just like new. The most important addition’s to this bag compared to others are the adjustable chest strap and light breathable straps. I can tell you I have tested a bunch of similar bags and nothing comes close to the volume this holds, at the weight and compact size, with durable material and features. It’s a definite must have for any traveler. Also, Osprey offers the best warranty around, so if you ever do have an issue I am sure their customer service will take care of you.

Durable, with great simple features. This is the 5th lightweight bag I've purchased in the past few years and I chose this one because:1. It packs down super small. Wrapped into the top pocket, it becomes the size of a fat wallet.2. It has water bottle holders on the outside, both sides. So many of the other lightweight waterproof bags don’t.3. The top pocket is large enough to hold all my misc items, and has two compartment inside too.4. Osprey quality and long warranty.Have been using it for a couple weeks and love it. Straps are comfortable, bag size is perfect, and the large zipper pulls are something I never new I was missing before but really like having now.Extra tip: if you have a tall water bottle, a small carabiner on the bag's top handle, clipped to the water bottle lid loop (if it has one), really helps stabilize and secure the bottle.

Fantastic ultralight backpack for hiking or as a daypack at your destination when traveling as a tourist. After using a sling bag for a while, I found two problems with it: 1. not quite big enough for bulkier items like a puffer jacket 2. ergonomics aren't so good for carrying more than one water bottle or drink. The sling feels better for specific cases like riding the subway and keeping the bag in front for security and to not bump others. But this ultralight backpack is overall going to better when traveling (mainly on vacation) and you need a daypack to carry only a few items around all day (sunglasses, sunscreen, phone charger, rain jacket, medicines, water bottle, etc.). The Osprey Ultralight Stuff Pack is perfect for reducing the size and weight - only 5.3oz and can stuff into its own pocket in a size about the same as an orange. It barely takes up any weight and space in your travel bags. Has a little key leash and some loops to attach other items. Bought it on sale so its value is tremendous. I like the neutral black color, but part of me wanted the bright orange color (which was not on sale at the time). I think this pack will be perfect for a day hike, on vacation, at theme parks, as an extra bag for a personal item on a plane in case you bought some souvenirs you want to bring home, and various other similar use cases. Definitely recommend this pack.

Recently came back from traveling with minimal luggage. I wanted a day backpack that could be stuffed into my backpack on a trek, while being used on days I didn't need to carry my bigger backpack. This one works great! It is lightweight and packs very small, so doesn't take space or add weight. Overall it fits everything needed for a day hike or out and about in a city. The side pockets fit a water bottle and the upper zipped pocket fits small stuff like keys & wallet. There isn't much back support, as expected from a minimal day bag, but the chest strap helps keep the bag secured on my shoulders. I didn't check the water resistance, since there was no rain on my trip. It's a good design and I recommend this bag for minimal packers.

I travel frequently for both work and personal trips, and the Osprey Ultralight Collapsible Stuff Pack has quickly become one of those “why didn’t I buy this sooner?” travel essentials. It folds down incredibly small in my luggage, yet once unpacked it’s surprisingly comfortable and capable for day trips, airport carry-ons, excursions, and even grocery runs while traveling. What impressed me most is how lightweight it is without feeling flimsy. The material feels durable enough for real-world use, and the shoulder straps are far more comfortable than I expected from a pack this compact. I’ve carried water bottles, souvenirs, snacks, a light jacket, and electronics with no issues at all. The zippers are smooth, the stitching looks solid, and overall it feels like a thoughtfully designed product from a brand that understands travelers. This has become my go-to secondary bag for flights because it takes up almost no space in my suitcase but becomes incredibly useful once I arrive at my destination. It’s especially perfect for international travel, theme parks, hiking excursions, cruise ports, or simply keeping extra storage handy during long travel days.If I could change one thing, I wish it had one additional exterior pocket for quick-access items like sunglasses or a passport. The current design is streamlined and minimal, which many people will love, but one more small pocket would make it nearly perfect for travel organization.Overall, this is one of the smartest travel purchases I’ve made in a long time. Lightweight, practical, durable, and easy to pack — exactly what you want from an ultralight daypack.

This backpack is wonderfully light and durable. I love the top pocket for stashing items you want to get to quickly. I have taken it hiking and also used it as a personal item carryon. It holds a lot! It's very packable. Zippers seem sturdy. Straps are adequately padded for day hiking. I would give it 5 stars but for a few drawbacks. The features and specs say the item is water repellant. It started raining while I was hiking and everything in my bag got drenched. Not sure how it would hold up in light rain, but in a downpour, it did nothing to keep my items dry. The bag features a sternum strap. Would love for them to add a hip strap! I feel like $45 is a bit high for this bag, but would be well worth it if the bag were waterproof and had a hip strap.

I LOVE this collapsible bag. It’s small, lightweight, and surprisingly durable. I’ve used this as a daypack on a recent trip to New Zealand. I prefer to one bag traveling internationally with a 40L backpack. Once I check into my hotel, I leave my large backpack behind and use the Osprey for the day. It’s perfect for exploring the city or going on hikes. I usually pack some water bottles, a rain jacket, chargers, and some snacks. The straps are comfortable with it packed out too.The only con for this bag is that it sags quite a bit from the weight of my gear, but that’s understandable. To make a bag this light and compact, you’d have to remove some structure.Overall, this bag is a great addition for my travel setup.

I really adore this bag. I don’t use it much anymore as I opt for a sling most days but having this on me when traveling has been lovely. I could use it to carry my towel and accessories to the pool, walk and buy groceries, or just for outings. It’s small enough to just toss in my back pocket as a “just in case”.The straps can be a little hard for me to slide my arms into as a more larger framed person but it feels comfortable to wear and can survive a quick splash of water. The zippers are YKK and as durable and great to use as any of my other Osprey bags and the quick access pocket is great for things like keys or my wallet at the gym when traveling. The materials aren’t friendly to a washing machine though. So if you do intend to wash it, hand wash it in a sink or tub and let it soak to get rid of any smell. Overall, I’d gladly purchase this again. Osprey are so reliable from my experiences. I just wish they had an all black version without gray on the straps.

I was initially skeptical about whether this bag would be able to accommodate all my daily essentials during my trip. However, I was pleasantly surprised by its capacity and practicality. The size proved to be just right—it held my water bottle, a light jacket, and a few personal items with ease. One of the standout features is its water-resistant material, which provided added peace of mind during our visit to the waterfalls. Additionally, the bag is impressively lightweight yet sturdy, making it comfortable to carry throughout the day without compromising durability.Overall, this was a great purchase that served me exceptionally well throughout my entire trip. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a reliable and compact travel companion.
